My name is Betty but I'm @bettybunny on hive community, i have been on this platform for 6 -7 months now and i can proudly say it been wonderful.

Even though I'm very much aware of the rules of this community I still went ahead and intentionally go against it. I plagiarized a post and didn't give credit to the writer of the words, which should be considered as theft. I copied a post from Google and paste them here in a post that I would drop the link below.

I would say I have no words to justify this act because it is wrong but then I have learnt lessons and promise not to do it again. I would never share a plagiarized contents again.
From this day I would diligently follow the community rules and instructions and never to go against it again.

I also want to use this opportunity to thank the creator of this platform and also everyone that is making sure this platform is enjoyable to us and also does that are always there to correct and lead us well.

This is the link of the post I committed the plagiarism.

I sincerely apologize to the @hivelearners community, and to all hive communities.

Thank you!!!

Copyright laws and social media netiquette are complex issues. The problem is especially complex when it comes to images ... as there is a pressure to have a unique image for each post.

Since HIVE gives out post rewards, HIVE must be even more vigilent about copyright violations than other social media platforms.

BTW: I got put on the @spaminator list despite the fact that I had no copyright violations. It took me several months to get off it.

Good luck getting off the blacklist. It is a frustrating process.

PS: I was reading the Pixabay contract. Their stock image contract is extremely confusing. They mix up the tersm "royalty free" and "free." I think it is better to use a site that publishes with the crative commons license.

Thank you so much for your comment, I now I had mess up and I wish I didn't but then it about to get better
