So I arrive on Steemit. Write a my first article.
Feel super proud as I push the POST button
And I get that error message: TRANSACTION FAILED!!!
I press it again.
Same thing happens.
I open up a new tab and search the topic on Google.
After a bit of digging I find out that the post may yet have been uploaded as this has happened to others before.
Lo and behold - there is my article.......... TWICE!!
Of course you cannot delete posts from Steemit.
So yes I am the guy with the same article twice 😳
To make matters even worse - none of the media I used in the post made it to the live version of the post.
There are just huge gaps there.
I don't even have a thumbnail for the post. Either of them
Auspicious start to my Steemit adventure.
But it's NOT put me off.
Quite the contrary.
It's made me more determined to make a success of this.
I want everyone reading this to know that anything is possible if you stop worrying about making mistakes.
There is no such thing as perfection.
This world of ours moves too fast.
Do not dwell on mistakes.
I try and be as meticulous as possible so it hurt my ego that I had two live posts on the website.
But I dusted my shoulders off
And decided to carry on and not let it phase me.
I decide how I feel and I feel like WINNING!!!
Yes I have found that if you get that error, open a new tab and check your blog. Almost always it actually did post.
Welcome to steemit! :)
I will definitely know better in future! It was a steep learning curve to start with for sure.
