I've been off from blogging for almost a week. Well, not exactly off. I'm just being too busy managing a project with #wherein if you know what am I referring to. I am not necessarily disappointed by anything, but myself. During this whole week, I gave myself enough time to reflect, try to understand the situation, and see things clearer whilst I'm away.
The first picture is taken in the evening. And this was taken in the morning. It was the first day of "opening" after a lengthy stay at home order from the government due to the C19, which I'm not going to talk about it anymore since so many people have been sharing that crap for donkey months. What I'm trying to highlight is a perception. When one is at a light place, going into the dark, it will take some time to get used to the environment. However, if you're in the dark and getting a bright light can literally make you blind for a very long time.
I think I'm just being spoiled for a very long time. I mean since I left the IT industries, I started working in insurance company, I have all the freedom that many people dream of, and my pay is relatively handsome considering my qualification is so low. I got so carried away and took things for granted like the job were plucked from sky and suddenly this pandemic changed everything. These few weeks at home, I'm FORCED to be really humble, since there's really nothing much I can do except stay at home. And suddenly when work started, I really have no idea where to pick myself up from. Which explained why I wasn't here for a whole week. Like I've been blessed with everyday having good food at home despite the limited movement control order. And after I'm back at work, seriously I couldn't find food! Come on man, now I know why fast-food is NOT cheap' cheap. It's convenient and we simply ignore the fact that they do charge on the packaging and the portion is unjustified. I literally need a double breakfast to fuel up. So, it's not exactly cheap.
Let's put all those aside, coming back to busy schedule. Back to work, can't live without coffee. And now, iced coffee is RM2.50. Seriously, I guess pretty soon their price can match Starbucks coffee. Once again, it's not overpriced, but it's on demand. It's just the nature of how economy works. Looking at it, hyperinflation is in the making. Better be prepare to make my own coffee, or better yet just stop drinking.
And after many days struggle with my CentOS in my laptop VMBox, I decided to move them to the desktop. And the desktop broken. So I managed to grab some supplies from the half closed shop downtown and had it repaired. After suffering for another few more days, finally I managed to kick them start. Thanks to @inertia for drdoogie. It works brilliantly on HIVE.So I'll have it continue to work here for as long as I can since there's some friends throw me their posting key which I couldn't do much about their account, let them upvote and reward others despite being dust!
And, today is Wesak Day, it's a special holiday. If you do not know what Wesak Day is, go ask Mr.Goo. I'm just telling you my country is having way too much holiday. Movement control order has been uplifted, despite not fully, but there's no longer road block between my house and the mall. Off I went to grab my favorite Subway sandwich for breakfast.
Mall is still very clean on the food outlet floor. I believe it was due to many of these restaurant are not open for business yet. And possibly some of them are permanently closed since the down turn. I already saw a few shops emptied and tear down their display racks. Once again, it's a new world, new order. Things will never be the same again.
One last thing to mention, this is a noodle I bought it from the restaurant near by my office. As we all know, the new order is to NOT dine in at the restaurant, so I took it back to my office and had it in my pantry. Why would I mention this? Well, this is one of the most affordable noodle I can find so far, they only charge me 5.50! At a prime area, business hub, couldn't possibly find anything more affordable than this! Forget about the taste, it's just barely consumable.
After being together with female tiger for such a long time, now only I know she can cook the similar kind of noodle! Only difference is, this is so much more tastier than the one I bought from the restaurant. Seriously marvelous.

Welcome back. The noodles look better than the other fast food. I ate mostly rice and vegetables. We are starting school offline on the 13th. I think people have a tendecy to buy more insurance after disasters so maybe your business will be profitable. I hope your project also turns out well. I started a project of my own. I wrote a kids book about the corona virus. The only way to learn to do something is to do it.
Do you think insurance company will offer coverage for C19 after this? LOL. In insurance industry, it work the other way round. The higher risk peril are usually subject to extremely high premium to deter customer, nor upfront reject. Anyway, that's the JOB I will leave to the insurance company to scratch their head. From now on, I will be focusing more on how to run an insurance business, rather than be their employee.
The project turned up pretty well after struggling for a week. You may consider to make use of www.wherein.io app. You can choose to post on BOTH chains at the same time. But if you post only on "the nother side", they have a 500kSP curator account rewarding users. So, it's not a bad idea to use that to make short post, street photography, insta type of short feed and updates back to "the other chain".

The paper book is in review. It's a kids book of 26 pages but has a good message and is funny. I learned a lot through the process and opened up hive account for writing books @mcsagel. This is the name that a lot of people know me by.
As for insurance I can see that now people won't run to get insurance because no insurance can cover covid.
As for the project. 500k HP Sounds like fun. Where do I start?

Unfortunately, it's 500kSP, so it only work for STEEM for now. I know many have been disappointed by that, but @wherein app is a standalone initiative and also support #hive

The story came natural but drawing on the computer I had a hard time.
I learned the hard way that Amazon book's standard 6×9" cannot be landscape style.
Then I learned when drawing it is best to make the canvas huge to get a better picture.
Finally I realized that digital pictures don't have to be 100% digital but different mediums can be exchanged. I can draw a picture and then transfer it onto digital and work with it. I will talk about things like that on the blog.

Click this button and you'll be automatically downloading the app to your android phone. Once done, by default it's logged in with steem, but you can go to settings and change it to hive. You can choose to use the dual submission function when author a post in wherein, so your post will use the same permlink to submit for both chains. But ofcourse, wherein curation will only be given to steem exclusive publication for now(steemit team said it's a mandatory requirement). But who knows, one day if wherein gets a delegation from HIVE, they may start their curation work here in HIVE as well.
Hmmm. I haven't seen much at Steemit I liked but it looks like its not going away. I will try a couple posts on Steem next week.
