RE: Good morning Steemit

It really isn't! I was wishing for more entries for quite a while now. Guess you really do have to be careful what you wish for. I also feel soooo under qualified to judge, as I'm not a writer myself. Simply a reader of fantasy books mostly.

Oh well, I'm doing the best I can. It's bound to happen that it comes down to personal preference a bit. If I keep getting a nice amount of entries for this contest, I might start looking for guest judges from time to time! Would be interesting to see and hear what they look for in their winning entries :-)

It is YOUR contest, so no one can question your choice. But you are open to more than stories, right? There is a poetry workshop starting now also. You might want to make sure they notice. Then you'll really have fun picking winners. ;-)

Oh yes, any creativity is welcome! Poetry can paint stories aswell, though I'll admit I'm not an avid poetry reader. I'll still be able to pick out the ones that speak to me most :-)

Is this all happening in the PAL channel on Discord?

Yup. On PALnet there is now both fiction-workshop for fiction writers to critique and help each other and a new poetry-workshop for doing the same for poets. There are some great poets involved in starting it, so I think we can expect great things in the near future. Several people are active in both, from what I understand. ;-) I don't think I will manage a new entry in this second contest... My brain is pretty lost in the world of Misty Vale. Not ready to let go of them.

Awesome, those workshops sound like great ways for artists to reach like-minded people and get some feedback!

Ooh, well dwell inside that world for a little longer then :-)
