They're the main 'chat' apps used by Steemians - although some groups prefer to use other apps like Telegram or Slack. Those 2 are the most used. Sorry for replying late. Sometimes I don't have time to reply. I hope this post helped out some people.
The layout is very simple. I do a bullet by using a dash/hyphen before a line starts. And the blockquotes are made with a 'greater than sign' before a line.
Again, thank you for a helpful post. I've discovered Steemit.chat and Discord, but not Telegram or Slack. I'll go check those out.
