Well winter is just starting and our Shiftless Hero is holed up in the dilapidated summer cottage banging away on the keyboard or running the roads with the heat turned-up full blast (possibly in a new vehicle according to some). The most amazing part is that our Shiftless Hero grew up in the same area and his hardy, hard working Father worked out of doors in the frigid Michigan winters providing a necessary services to hundreds of propane customers. How did he do it? Hard work and perseverance I'm sure and a duty to provide for his family. The Father must have been prepared and wore warm clothes, instead of huddling behind a window opining what he might or should or planned to do...He did it! (and most likely still does).
