Iceland is not going through one of its best times right now. Many people were forced to evacuate their homes because of the risk of an imminent volcanic eruption. Knowing that people are going to lose their homes, everything they have built over the years, their businesses, their investments, absolutely everything and a displacement will never be the same as staying in a place where you are used to and have everything you dreamed of.
Many earthquakes and estimation of where you can start to see the eruption, but it can really come out anywhere, through a mountain, in a part of the city that was already evacuated, in the sea, just below the summit, wherever it comes out it will cause damage, and all that comes after, the gases, the duration and then wait until it can be habitable again.
I read in the news that a similar event had happened many years ago since records have been kept and it lasted I think three years or more. Nothing is really known about this one, when it will come out, how long it will last and the damage it will cause. The only thing I ask is that it will not be so disastrous, it is a pity that many things will be lost.

Islandia no está atravesando ahorita uno de sus mejores momentos. Muchas personas se vieron obligadas a evacuar sus casas por el riesgo de una erupción volcánica inminente. El hecho de saber que personas van a perder sus hogares, todo lo que en años construyeron los negocios, sus inversiones, todo absolutamente y un desplazó no será nunca igual que quedarse en un sitio donde estas acostumbrado y tienes todo lo que soñaste.
Muchos sismos y estimación de donde se pueda empezar a ver la erupción, pero realmente puede salir por cualquier sitio, por una montaña, en una parte de la ciudad que ya fue evacuada, en el mar, justo debajo de una cumbre, por donde salga causará daños, y todo lo que conlleva después, los gases, la duración y después esperar a que pueda ser habitable nuevamente.
Leí por las noticias que antes había sucedió un evento similar hace muchos años desde que se tiene registro y duró creo que tres años o más. De este no se sabe nada realmente, cuando salga, cuanto tiempo durará y los daños que causará. Lo único que pido es que no sea tan desastroso, es una lástima que se pierda muchas cosas.
