I remember when I worked in the paint store, that in the mornings to take the bus was a real odyssey. At the bus stop near my house, there are two routes, one that goes straight and another that crosses at one point and left me in front of the store, and that was the one I usually took, the other one that went straight served me until the point where the other route crossed. The idea was always to take the one that crossed, so I could stay right in front of the store and not walk so far.
The problem began after the second month of work, in the first month the route always passed, it was rare the times that it did not pass, now in the second month it was the opposite, the route that went straight was passing more than the one that crossed. When leaving early I could afford to wait for the bus to cross, but many times it was not possible and I had to take the one that went straight and stay on the crossing and walk to work.
I could say that the bus is late, but no, it simply did not pass or maybe when I went out to take the bus that route did not pass, of course by the third month I simply took the first bus that would pass and I stayed at the same stop if I went straight or in front of the store if I crossed where I should. That way I was able to resolve not to be late because the right bus wouldn't pass.

Recuerdo cuando trabajaba en la tienda de pinturas, que por las mañanas al tomar el bus era toda una odisea. En la parada cerca de casa, pasan dos rutas una que sigue derecho y otra que cruza en un punto y que me dejaba frente al negocio, y que era la que normalmente solía tomar, la otra que seguía derecho me servía hasta el punto donde la otra ruta cruzaba. La idea siempre era agarrar el que cruzara, y así quedarme justo en el negocio y no caminar tanto.
El problema comenzó pasado el segundo mes de trabajo, en el primero por lo general siempre pasaba la ruta, eran raras las veces que no pasaba, ahora en el segundo mes era al contrario pasaba más la ruta que seguía derecho que la que cruzaba. Al salir temprano me podía permitir que esperar el autobús que cruzara, pero muchas veces no era posible y tenía que tomar el que seguía derecho y quedarme al cruzar e irme caminando al trabajo.
Podría decir que el autobús llegaba tarde, pero no, simplemente no pasaba o quizás cuando salía a tomar el bus esa ruta no pasaba, claro ya al tercer mes simplemente tomaba el primer bus que pasará y me quedaba en la misma parada si seguía derecho o frente a la tienda si cruzaba donde debía. De esa forma pude resolver no llegar tarde por culpa de que el autobús adecuado no pasará.
