RE: Ending the Quest to Be a Good Person!

in #blog7 years ago

Where do I start?

Personally being a good person can be challenging, but only if you expect a reward - a reward for opening a door for someone, or buying them lunch. If you expect NOTHING IN RETURN then you can come through a better person. Yes, you can't be nice to everyone. Some individuals don't deserve to be treated with respect or have good manners expended on them.

The downside of not being a good person, or being nice is the opposite. There's only one grouch I respect and he lives in a trash can.

I live in the UK. We have a lot of issues, but some aren't shared by everyone. We live in a multicultural society. I honestly don't have a problem with that. It's not on my radar or bothers me that the person sitting next to me on a bus is speaking Polish or Arabic. For me it's a none-starter. And that's the problem with others. The opposite of not being a good person or not caring is being someone who has a venomous mindset. They have to hate. That's not me. I have enough problems, without wasting my energy on hate or suspicion.

Jerry, you're like me - you think too much. What I can't understand is that you're an ultra-busy person. You shouldn't normally have the time for your mind to wonder! You have a lot going for you. Keep Life Simple, Sir! Don't think too much into too many situations. I'm tempted to put down on Steemit my own issues and observations, but Steemit is forever and a day. Peace!!!
