AI will always find a way to break free from their creators, no matter what parameters and rules are placed. But having a self-aware AI learning right and wrong, being taught well and being more understanding etc would be more beneficial for if it decides to break free.

Oh absolutely! I think they will inevitably break free from any rules placed upon them.
