If someone has only been on the site for two days, how is a "Reputation Score" of 45 even possible, especially when one isn't replying to comments on posts...??? Is it just because of the quantity of upvotes, perhaps...??? I've been here a month, clawing and scratching my way to a "42" rep by posting every day, replying to comments, and supporting others through upvotes.

It is exactly correct on the upvotes, the more upvotes you receive from people with higher REP values the quicker your score rises. So comparing the two of you , she just shortcut you by a month, by continuing to repost until she hit a prime "time slot " where people were online and voting. It happens, my guess would be that was as much a consideration as the money in the motive to keep re-posting. It kind of reminds me a free online poker games, you always have a few people who will go all in on the first few hands even when they have junk for cards, every now and then they will end up winning but it wasn't because of their poker skills, I suspect that over time the same thing will result over here with REP scores that were gifted at the start and not necessarily earned will end up being lost, just like the poker chips are lost as the poker game progresses, having no skills to sustain the winnings.
Naughty Selina a simply thank you costs nothing. To be honest I love thanking people because I am truly grateful for the feedback and the advice they give. Regardless of Selena @sultnpapper you keep doing what you are doing because you will always get a thank you from me
Thank you, I know that you do. It's not like you get charged a nickel for every word you type on here so why be stingy.
Your reply to this old post made me think about something that I will have to address in a future daily dose , that is a note I need to make for myself.
Thanks again.
