The western society is spiritually and culturally dead, because they DONT WANT this unconvenient things.
They don't want it because they have been brainwashed into that shit, nature is also the antidote to materialism.
They want everything NOW and FREE or at least cheap. They dont want work for their happiness and health, because they DESERVE it basically, so "gimme dat, world, now!".
That's what welfare does to you, feed a cat outside and it will grow dependent and probably die.
The most of the world is quiet empty. Lot of plains, forests, mountains, all without people. And they are crying: overpopulation! Yes, in a metropolis. But not in the real world!
Agreed, cities are the hometown of every automaton, nature is for thinking people.
All "brainwashed" people have free will. And facing with the true nature of society many times. And they are choosing wrong, again and again. This is not because the brainwashing. Because the lazyness and stupid habits.

That is true, but they don't know alternatives and they seem to not look for them till they land in the psychiatry ward and get fooled again with SSRI's and then crawl back to the same shit and swallow placebos their whole life and die.

If you show the world careful, you can see many alternative. You have to live a very inhuman place to dont see the way out.
