I am lucky to live on the edge of a city, 30 minutes and I am in the country side. I hope to leave most of "civilization" with its unnatural perversions, the prison homes, the prison work places, behind one day (in the next 10 years). It is so depressing to see it all collapse, but it will be a new start.
I am just moving to the edge of the city. Only old Germans there that keep the neighborhood clean : )

I think I'm going to take the park pill first. 😂 Your description of how people are today is sad but accurate. As the world is burning, one thing I would also suggest is to give people the love pill. Smacking those who seem dead inside over the head and waking them up by being authentic and loving can be confusing for them, but harness positive results, and can be contagious. Might work if they don't want to have a barbecue in the forest. ;)

The western society is spiritually and culturally dead, because they DONT WANT this unconvenient things.
They want everything NOW and FREE or at least cheap. They dont want work for their happiness and health, because they DESERVE it basically, so "gimme dat, world, now!".
This human-storage buildings are exist only one reason: the humans want this!
They can choose another ways. But they dont.
The most of the world is quiet empty. Lot of plains, forests, mountains, all without people. And they are crying: overpopulation! Yes, in a metropolis. But not in the real world!
But they want comfort. They want air conditioner, tv, 4G, restaurants and bars, and huge mass. And called it "hustle and bustle of life". But isnt life. Its just the easy (or looks easy, but not) way. And they willing to pay for it, with their life-power.
Its a simple choosing. And you have to make your choose.
They don't want it because they have been brainwashed into that shit, nature is also the antidote to materialism.
That's what welfare does to you, feed a cat outside and it will grow dependent and probably die.
Agreed, cities are the hometown of every automaton, nature is for thinking people.
All "brainwashed" people have free will. And facing with the true nature of society many times. And they are choosing wrong, again and again. This is not because the brainwashing. Because the lazyness and stupid habits.
Some people are weird. I think, not everyone can accept the help in this case.
That is true, but they don't know alternatives and they seem to not look for them till they land in the psychiatry ward and get fooled again with SSRI's and then crawl back to the same shit and swallow placebos their whole life and die.
The brainwashing is so extensive and massive, it is absolutely mindblowing when you realize how hard we are getting fooled everywhere.

So the right people KNOW the alternatives. They can choose that, if they want.
If you show the world careful, you can see many alternative. You have to live a very inhuman place to dont see the way out.

The lack of spirituality/direction is creating a World am afraid my children may not recognize (when they are born) and constantly search for meaning.

A the mark of any successful city is an open space in the center. That is often a park. IE: Central park.
You have to remember some people are so empathetic that they carry the weight of the world in the emotions and heart. Empathy is amazing, but when it over runs you then it is a complete imbalance of our own nature. You have got to care about your self at some point.
It is a balance between caring about you and caring about others. To be over empathic is to care to much, and to care too much about everyone else is poor self esteem. Spiritual is good, but too much of it takes us away from the material reality that we are in. You have to wake up. You must pay bills, and it is good to make an effort in the community.
