Blogging is not all about coming and dropping a post, it should come with you imprinted on it. Your post should have you in it. People should be able to connect with you while reading as well. Be conversational- that is one way to keep people glued to your blog.be lively and make your points clear as well.
Easy as it looks, this is hard to keep up. But considering you got to where you are now, you must have been consistent and its sure paying off. For minnows like myself though, its most frustrating when your posts get little or no response at all.
I know that in a way this is deviating from the topic blogging. But how where you able to get your audience when you started?
I'm still just a little guy, but I can tell you the answer to that! Exactly what you just did. Find blogs that interest YOU, and leave thoughtful comments that provoke a response. If they like what you have to say, they may just follow you, and support you in your journey. Some people may follow very few people as a rule, but will notice you in their comment section, and return the favor with an upvote!
Also: contests. Great way to engage with the community and put yourself out there.
I would do just that. The contests though are barely on fair standards, most times the winners have more upvotes than the people with quality content. More like you got to have people on standby to upvote you in a contest.
Thanks for your kind words, i would interact more with posts i find interesting
I really understand you. That is why I have put up this post. One thing yoh might also include is to be original and sincere. I think that worked too.
Thanks for the advice, i hope to put it to good use. Had bandwidth issue, hence the delay in replying this.
