Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss. I was three the first time I ever read this book solo, and I haven't stopped reading since. That's more life-changing than any book I've read since because it made the rest possible. I wrote a story all about it on my blog called The House That Books Built - one of my first posts, actually. It talks about all the authors that influenced my life and love of reading.
Thanks for the article. I particularly enjoy the ones that get conversations started ;)
See ya next time!

Wonderful Mo! I got so many great suggestions and thats what I needed today :)
If you're in the mood for something funny, I suggest anything by Christopher Moore. If you like scaryish, then Joe Hill is a trusted source (Stephen King's son). I love to read, and will read most anything with a cover. I draw the line at romance novels...when I was a bookseller, I would hate having to stock that section. I called it stuff posing as literature...lol
