Yes, you pay first and get a vote for the same % of the share you paid when the next voting round starts.
But with only 1500Sp the max u will get at 100% is around 22 cents. How much does it initally cost?

Could you PLS consider a voting limit of 4 SBD per account? It is just stupid how some people ruin the reward ratio for everyone with 10SBD bids. This would solve the problem immediately and make it fairer and better profitable. pls consider it. I love your service but this is really stupid. You might also consider to not accept bids after there are already 60SBD bids in...

how to use @booster ?
The problem for @booster is reject a lot of bids. The rejected amount from high to low. Everyone is wondering how to bid since bid low will be rejected and bid high also rejected.
We are going to brainstorm on that issue soon. But at least it pay you back automatically if it happens to you instead of taking it as a "donation" as others do ;) I am sure we will find a nice solution.
Just make sure your post is votable and not in the last 12 hours.
The problem is difficult to track which URLs' rejected because refund only show some random ID. I suggest forward the rejected bids for next 3-5 rounds before make a refund.

@fyrstikken I appartently "donated" 4.288 SBD because i bidded but never got the upvote nor the refund. I was a common user but the time i spent the most i lost my hard earned money, i hope its fixed now...

Hey! 5 hours ago i made a bid of 4.228 SBD to @booster but didn't get the upvote and neither the refunds, now my post can't be upvoted because it will pay in less than 12 hours so i need the refund. Must have been a lot of people in the same window as you. Try to find an "empty" window, you will get higher votes that way. Or outbid your competition. Booster is not just for profit, its main intention is to boost you up the trending-list so more people see & vote for your post. Good Luck :)
Actually, it upvoted me twice. The first time it was a good percentage but because of an overlap bug, it gave me another upvote in the next window which was busy and that was like 50% less so it removed the previous upvote! Is the overlap bug fixed?

Booster is the most fun bot on Steemit at the moment. It is easy to use unlike Whaleshares and it offers tons more flexibility than Randowhale. Now with the frontrunners it gets really interesting. I love the fact that people actually loose money when they don't use Booster right. You have to research how it works, monitor the current bids and calculate when and how much you want to throw into the pool. It's a game and I am gaming it hard. Thanks, @fyrstikken!

You send an SBD bid to @booster with your post URL in the memo (check his wallet page to see an example)
I think it would be pretty interesting if @booster could update the profile/bio every 5-10 mins as a countdown or have a link to a countdown of the 2.4 hours.
It would help newbies not have to check every so often or rely on steeemd.com etc
