One thousand percent, I support a wall. While the mexican government waggles their finger at us for our desire to maintain borders, they jail central-americans who enter Mexico illegally and subject them to forced labor. I'm happy with the US paying for the wall, but would prefer that Mexico pay for it, through taxation on all cash remittances (Western Union) to Mexico, plus increased visa fees on mexican visitors, plus the levying of reciprocal tariffs. With Trump in office, it has felt like Christmas every day, ever since his inauguration.

I say we just pay for it, and get it done. The cost of building a wall is peanuts compared to the economic consequences of inaction over the next 100 years. Trump is our best hope to get it done, but we need to force him to speed up the process.
The interesting thing about this spending bill he just signed, based upon what I understand, is that it is an omnibus bill, which does not bind the president to spend the money stipulated in the bill (i.e.: 500bn for planned parenthood, etc), unlike a "budget or spending bill".
