A Hidden Gem of a Park Situated Near Central London

In the last couple of days, the weather has been amazing, sunny and warm. Not bad for the start of the spring season. To take advantage of it, my friend and I had a lovely walk in Queens Park and enjoyed some quality time outdoors!

The park itself is not huge, compared to Hyde Park in Central London but it is still full of wonderful things. It has a big lawn that is very well maintained and trimmed which is an excellent place for family picnics. Two kids playground are also catered for, one being sand-based and one a themed adventure with zip wire, as well as an open air padding pool in the summer months. In addition, the park is also furnished with tennis courts and mini golf grounds to rent. And to top it all off, there is a bandstand for special occasions.

My favourite part, however, is the small petting zoo with some cute animals including goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks and swans! A great place to meet some small farm animals!

Queens Park is a relaxing and pleasant green space near my neighbourhood and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
