Today we celebrate the International Day of Happiness, a time to dedicate ourselves and others we could take as a starting point to start living better.
The Day of Happiness is an official celebration approved by the UN in 2012 and covers the whole world. We know well that the pursuit of happiness and well-being is the main objective of human beings. Everyone wants to feel good and be happy for as long as possible.
Are we really happy in our daily life? What must we do to achieve true happiness?
We can build lasting happiness step by step in our daily life. But what is happiness really?
According to Christian Boiron, happiness is:
"The radiant state of those who manage to express their deep self, live their own personal destiny and give meaning to their lives, become heroes of themselves, fly higher and feel free every day."
For Christian Boiron, happiness is the state in which one can express their authentic being and feel freer every day, pushes towards dynamism and is a source of generosity. Each of us, in addition, would be programmed to be happy.
We can practice happiness almost as if we went to the gym every day and devoted at least 30 minutes a day to our well-being.
But it is not as easy as it is said. The reality is that it depends on us and not on others, to achieve happiness in our lives and to transmit happiness to others.
