Becoming A Master Of Steem

The Eastern traditions spend a great deal of time focusing upon mastery. It is only through the goal of mastery does one forge ahead. Through this pursuit, it is not the end that is important, but what one becomes along the way.

Steem is a blockchain that has the potential to change the lives of millions of people around the world. It is at the core of cryptoeconomics which is a system that is not based in scarcity. We are witnessing an incredible paradigm shift that is going to upset the foundation of society. It is all part of a larger move away from the dark forces we dealt with in the past.

When we look at the blockchains that are out there, especially those in the Top 50, we notice something very telling. There is little happening upon them. Of those chains, there are only a handful that you could say, at this point, are legitimate projects. Many have name recognition and little else. They spent a great deal on marketing yet lag in the development arena. At some point, this could bite them in the hind end.

As the industry matures, projects are going to need to put up or shut up. The world is not going to sit around taking a bunch of empty promises. People want to see progress. Steem is a blockchain that is offering that.

That said, what we need is more people to become Steem Masters. What is a Steem Master? It is one who is dedicated to mastering the Steem blockchain. What I mean by that is someone who takes the time and effort to study what is taking place here. It is more than just writing an article or posting a video.

Instead, it is immersing oneself into all aspects of Steem. Through this process, one gains an understanding of what is taking place along with the changes as they are made. It requires time, effort, and commitment.

People are conditioned to be fearful. That is where the control mechanism wants people. As the paradigm shift takes place, many are going to have their worlds rocked. This is going to require people to step up as a guiding force.

When Steem becomes a study, it is easy to be calm when everyone else is nervous. Delving into the different aspects of what is taking place leads to knowledge that is commonly overlooked. Suddenly, the individuals who are aligned in their vision start to appear (actually we begin to see them, they were there all along).

In addition to being calm in the middle of the storm, one is also presented with the vision. It becomes a lot easier to see where Steem is going. The activities and developments of others start to make sense.

The focus that one has tends to cut out the noise. There are a lot of naysayers out there who never accomplish much in their lives. It is easy to be a critic.

People who set out to master Steem understand we are onto something revolutionary. Of course, it is far bigger than Steem and there are a number of blockchains that are equally as involved in this. Bitcoin obviously changed the world. Ethereum, with the smart contract technology, added another layer. EOS holds tremendous potential along with an assortment of others.

Yet right in the middle of all that is Steem.

People seem to discount the ability to come on here and earn tokens. That is enormous. When you look at the present circumstances around the world, billions of people cannot buy cryptocurrency. Providing an opportunity to earn coins is a game changer to them.

Sadly, in addition to those people, there are going to be hundreds of millions in the developed countries who are put in a similar situation. Steem is going to have to fill the void since those in control are determined to eradicate as much of the workforce as they can. Ultimately, there could be millions of people making their living off the Steem blockchain.

I once read that only 30% of the population of the United States was in favor of seceding from England. That means 70% were against it. This shows that how radical breakthroughs are rarely done by the majority.

There are more than a handful on here who are determined to make Steem a screaming success. They are intent on mastering the different aspect of this blockchain so as to leverage to it's full potential. Most do not operate like this and that is okay. It is human nature for most to follow along.

If you want to join in this marvelous journey, it starts with getting excited. Seeing the potential is only the tip of the iceberg. One almost has to fall in love with it. At the same time, realize the importance of what we are doing here. This is an experiment that cannot fail. We are in a race against the clock. The centralized entities are doing their best to respond to the threat presented here. Ultimately, they will fail. However, the actions on here carry a great deal of weight as to how quickly that happens.

Excitement is contagious. Look at the difference in energy in a post that is fulled with excitement versus one that is a total downer. Just consider what you read on the mainstream media sites. Do you feel uplifted and energetic after reading it? Not likely. Sure, there are many who love to slosh around in the misery hence they will spread it like a disease. That is not what Steem needs.

Facebook and Google are flexing their muscles. Instead of being more open, they are moving even further into the tyranny realm. Masters of Steem understand we have a solution to those cesspools. It is one of our greatest offers: freedom to post what you want. This is something that goes understated. Any text submitted through any interface is on the blockchain for as long as at least one person is running the software. It cannot be taken down.

Do you know how big that is?

Of course, many will assert that what happened a few weeks ago meant it could be. That would be incorrect and students of Steem understand it. Anything can be deleted from an application that is on a private server(s). Yet, even if deleted there, the text of the post is still on the blockchain.

It does not go away.

One of the best ways we all can aid in the success of the Steem blockchain is to become masters of it. Set out with this intention and see how much different your interactions are. Suddenly one becomes a student of all that is taking place. It all holds interest because it adds to the knowledge base.

This is especially true for those of us who are not coders and not on the development side of things. We are the ones who need to take what they create and run with it.

This is not going to be an overnight sensation. It is going to take years for what is being created to fully develop. However, if you pull back the curtain, you will start to see the connectivity of it all. There are different projects that, at the moment, appear separate yet are leveraging each other. We will see a number of things come together which will accelerate things much faster than we expected.

It is just a matter of being patient until we get to the point.

In the mean time, dedicate yourself to becoming a Master of Steem. The world will be glad you did.

a great article that explains this point really well. Here's a quote from the article that resonates deeply "If we really want to harden the crypto currency network and the entire internet, we need to replace the entire network with our own, end-to-end. Period. No government. No Corporations. Just us people! I mean EVERYTHING, including the power systems that power it all. This is a monumental task and until that is done, I will not trust any of it." Quite frankly neither will I trust it.I guess it all takes time but the blockchain in and of itself is too dependent imo to be sustainable the way it is. My friend @wwf has just written

One step at a time i guess. Eventhough i want my utopian world NOW haha 🐝🌻🎶

He is right and it has that potential. It will not happen overnight but we need to move as much away from the centralized realm as quickly as we can.

Unfortunately, we are seeing the same corporate mindset enter into the world of crypty and blockchain.

It's like Stockholm syndrome 🤦‍♀️

The world is not binary, but grayscale. While 30% of the British citizens in the American colonies may have supported the idea of secession, less than 10% actually acted to make it happen. Of the remainder, most were loyal to their King, and some didn't care one way or the other.

That's a pretty good rule of thumb regarding any drastic paradigm shift. Most don't want to change, even if they are being harmed (within limits, of course), many either don't know, don't care, or don't have a preference (about a third), and of those that want to see the change, less than a third of them will take action to make it happen.

It is that 10% that change the world. People like you, and me - and I'm not so sure about me!

Thanks!

The crazy thing I consider is that despite falling down the rabbit hole and being passionate about Steem months ago, I continue to be far from a Master as there is so much development that there are continual changes happening. I think this is where communities will be able to distinguish themselves with niches and mastery in certain aspects.

I've spent the last few months on Steem focusing on just that. Learning more about Steem and focusing less on the chaos that is happening with Steemit Inc and the price of Steem. I'm far from a master, but learning a little everday.

I once read that only 30% of the population of the United States was in favor of seceding from England. That means 70% were against it.

Man, that's crazy. I may have learned that in my American History class, but forgot about it if I even learned that at all.

One thing the bear market has taught me is what projects are good ones. I've mostly sold all the projects that aren't currency related that I can't do anything with. I've been slimming down my portfolio to Eth, EOS, Steem, Bitcoin, and looking into picking up some Telos. I've got tired of just watching vaporware coins loose value with no uses.

Yes the bear is teaching us about what is a value project and what is fluff.

Projects that spend the bulk of their time on marketing tend to get a bump in price but fall because there is nothing there.

The opposite is true for those that will succeed. Even without marketing at this point, as long as there is activity, development and users, the project has a chance.

Thank you so much for participating the Partiko Delegation Plan Round 1! We really appreciate your support! As part of the delegation benefits, we just gave you a 3.00% upvote! Together, let’s change the world!

This looks right up your alley:

“Why can’t we do it with 1% of the people we have?”
