Definition: A dark area or shape produced by a body coming between rays of light and a surface.

Taken with my Canon 5D MkIII and Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 IF EX DG HSM Lens. Edited with Lightroom.
Settings: Shutter speed 1/13 at f/5.0, 24mm, ISO 500.

I'm not usually fan of the black and white picture but this is just astounding.
Line, Shadows and perspective; everything fits perfectly. really good job on this one.
