It seems as though everyone is growing these days so I thought I'd give some advice about what would of helped me the most when I started.
LESS is MORE:
This applies to a lot of things when it comes to growing, but most of all to nutrients! I use HALF of whats recommended even in full bloom, this will save you A LOT of headaches and quite a bit of money. Let me say it again, More nutrients DOES NOT equal bigger plants! I have also seen many new growers with way to many different nuetrients, ones they don't fully understand and it causes nothing but problems (don't cause your own problems). Start by finding a good nutrient line that includes everything you need in just a few bottles. Adding any extra macro or micro nutrients seprately can get extremely confusing, and those extras nutrients can really mess stuff up if you don't know what you are doing.
Less is more also applies to just plain working on your plants to much. Growers often think they have to constantly be working on and picking at their plants to make them bigger and stronger, that couldn't be further from the truth!! Believe it or not plants have been around a really really long time and they don't need any help doing their business! Often times you think you are doing something to help the plant when you are actually hurting it. So just give them the necessities to live and LEAVE THEM ALONE!
BE HAPPY!
The happier you are, the happier your plants will be. I know this sounds ridiculous but it's absolutely true! Atleast in my case, let me explain. I battle with severe PTSD from my 2 combat tours in Iraq and sometimes that cause me to have long bouts of depression and anxiety (usually for months on end). I've notice my plants suffer as well when this happens to me, they don't seem to be as lush or even grow as fast! Its like they feed off my energy. I spend the same amount of time with them everyday because I have a schedual that stays exactly the same whether I am depressed or not, so I know its not just lack of care. But lately I've been very happy and it shows in my ladies :) so its absolutely true for me. I guess what Im trying to say is BE HAPPY and your plants will be too! :)
Recently I have been learning about nikoli Tesla's theorys about vibrations, happy thought vibrations are extremely different than negative thought vibrations, i think that might have something to do with it? But who knows, Maybe Im just a crazy hippie!?!
PEACE, LOVE N ALL THAT HIPPIE SHIT

15 Years Cultivating Cannabis
and what you post are truths I live by. :) Less is definitely more. I see a lot of cannabis which has been loved to death, over cared for. :)
Ha, loved to death, great way to put it! I checked out your profile quick and liked what i saw so i followed u. Its always nice to have someone with lots of experience around for when i just cant figure out an issue.. i hope follow me too, take care.. :) happy growing.
Happy to help where I can. :)
You'll find your PTSD is lessened by CBD. The longer you use CBD rich cannabis, the fewer issues you'll have with PTSD. I know it also increases in effectiveness for pain and inflammation the longer you use it. :) My autism and pain are significantly reduced after only a couple years of CBD rich cannabis. :)
I see a white bump on the stem of my Canna-Tsu cut, in the cloner. Almost lost the cut, it's 20%+ CBD and only about 8-9% THC. Maximum relief, zero inebriation. ;) What's your favorite high CBD strain so far?
Ive honestly never tried anything to cbd heavy. Im usually a big fan of the inebriated feeling :) but i didnt know cbd heavy strands could have that good of an effect on my ptsd. Is that canna-Tsu your favorite strand? Do u have any other suggestions of cbd stands i should take a look at? Thanks for the info, ive heard alot about cbd but i thought it was more for seizures, MS and things of that nature.
CBD Has MANY, Many, Many, Many, Many Benefits lol
The information on CBD definitely needs to be spread further. Where THC is useful as a medicine, it's rather limited by itself. CBD has significantly more medicinal effects, yet it's still most effective when used with THC.
CBD lowers inflammation, helps regulate mood, blood pressure/sugar/cholesterol, assists with digestion, reduces the conscious awareness of pain while also decreasing physical pain. There are literally hundreds of medicinal benefits from CBD, they're too many to list. I basically listed the most in-your-face examples. :)
The strain Canna-Tsu has different phenotypes, there are high THC and high CBD versions. The cut I have actually improves my memory, focus, mood control, gross/fine motor skills, logic and more. Absolutely amazing. :) It's approximately 20%+ CBD and only 8%-9% THC. Very nice orange citrus flavor. :)
There are more and more higher CBD strains becoming available all the time. Cannatonic and Sour Tsunami should be available in a lot of places. Seeds are available from quite a few seed banks now, in Canada and in Europe.
When I first started using high CBD cannabis, I ended up using significantly more than I needed. I kept waiting for the high to kick in and then reach that point where I'm "Good." Realized after a while the high would never kick in and I'm "Good" with just a few tokes. lol
Very strange experience. ;)
Wow, that is some really good information! Thank you. And i bet your right, that is a really odd feeling at first, especially of you are use to getting high evertime u medicate. Lol.
I will definitely be looking into cbd's more and will probably get some seeds and give it a try.. hopefully you will see a post about 6 months from now about my new cbd strain! If you catch it make sure to comment! ;) Thanks again! Take care.
Looking Forward to Seeing
you post about the CBD strains you're enjoying. ;)
Be Awesome!
Right on brother voted and followed good work 🍁
Thanks! I checked out your profile quick and followed u too.
Hello! Nice plants, looking healthy! What I don't understand that in our country those plants are giving a LOT of more buds on lesser circumstances. My personal expierence is to measure every drop of nutriciant and use 1 plant to test out when he shows signs of running out of nutriciants. Less is definetly more indeed!
I see a purple glow of light, assuming u use some kind of LED-Growbox? What kind of strains are you trying to get? To help you with your syndrom or for other purposes? I`m pretty experienced in different kinds of strains and THC/CBD proportions.
Maybe I can help a bit out, maybe if you like some seeds I can help you since I live in the Netherlands :)
Those vibrations you're reading are based on frequencies. Every color has his own frequency and this can be boosted by frequency tones. Every stage needs his own kind of light if you don't use HPS lamps, together with music/sounds it can be enhanced but those few percentages of "profit" won't wager up to the sound-noise. Play a bit of old rock or classic along the way.
I can recommend some Ice-O-Lator from CBD heavy strains for your PTSD. It's pretty heavy but your mind stays very clear. The calmness together with a clear, good working mind is pretty nice to work on your negative emotions. Almost the same effects as MDMA but without the hazards.
Ice-O-Lator is pretty easy to make, lot of labor though but it is so worth it and you can get extra smokestuff from your plant-rests.
Hit me up if I can give you advice or you can tell me something nice :) I don't know everything :)
Thanks for commenting, i will try answer everything. To start, the plants in these pictures are only halfway done in flower so they will fill in much more, also i top them to keep them low profile because of the space i grow in, so that could maybe explain why they arent "a LOT bigger".
The pinkish-purple lights you noticed are the LED lights, they put off that spectrum. They aren't as powerful as a hps light but i really like the spectrum and they stay pretty cool so i dont have to vent them.
I dont need any help getting strains as i order all of mine from a seed bank so i already have the strands i need for my ailments, but i really appreciate the offer.
As far as the ice-o-lator you are talking about, it sounds like the bubble hash machine i use to have before i learned how to make butane hash which is way more pure. It's also so much easier and faster to make, so i feel as i am good to go in that department. :) thanks for the comment, take care.

Very health looking plants! I full agree with less is more...i like to use the 6/9 formula, or another kiss method . Be happy man . Peace =]
Thanks! I think it can vary depending on the line of nutrients u use and what medium u grow in. But i have used that formula as well. take care, happy growing :)
Hello Luiz, I have followed you too as I see you're into 420 medicine :) Please follow me back if you like my first post - I'm collecting weed-friendly followers - obrigada :)
So true, less water too. I see so many people drown their roots over watering.
I was actually going to put that in my article but i dont like to make cannabis post to long, stoners loose interest! Lol. I might start a growing journal type post(s) to help newer growers with issues like that!
Now this was an interesting an fun post with great pics and an even better message! I truly enjoyed.
Thanks, i really appreciate that. I plan to do more short fun post on this subject in the future so follow me if u enjoyed this! :) i checked out ur profile and really enjoyed ur article the now... so i followed u.. :) take care.

I agree on the positive vibes and am very happy to see that your ladies brought peace into your post-combat life. My ladies have brought nothing but peace and joy into ours. And yes, less is more, although I'm not using hydroponics. More in the sense that I thought I would need more plants than I did - cannabis is bountiful in so many ways.
I followed and upvoted your post. I enjoyed reading your article. I have faced some of those same challenges in the past and its a unfortunate that people have to go through this for a plant that only helps people. For me, cannabis is the ONLY thing that works for my ptsd so nothimg will stop me from doing it.
Im glad u dont let that stop u either, and im happy that it can help improve your life! If u ever have any questions feel free to ask. Take care! :)
Man these are some awesome pictures @moderndayhippie, I also love the setup. I can tell you mean business brother and it looks like you know what you are talking about. Thanks for sharing such beautiful plants with us on steemit. I hope they grow healthy and strong to keep you buzzed all night long. Steem on my fellow steemiteer

What ph u set for the beginning ?
Do you mean for clones? For veg? For flower? For soil or hydro? Lots of variables u need to give me so i can point u in the right direction. But im happy to help! :)
Yes clones and the first 2 weeks. I use 6.2 atm .
Thats perfect. Thats what i use for hydro clones. Make sure to keep your ppm low with clones or you can burn them.
nice tip man! specially for autoflowering ones!!
Thanks, I've never used auto flowering seeds but thats great to know!
Duly noted for future reference. We're supposed to get legalization in my neck of the woods next year, so I hope to put your advice to work.
