So I have been burdened with a decision, after a lot of arguments with Ford and a service bill costing over R40 000.00 (3000USD) I have decided to sell my Ford ST. It's kind of sad considering I bought it brand new only 2 years ago and the service should be covered by their service plan.
So today the hunt began for the new car and so far I have settled on the new Volvo V40.
What do you all think? Looking for some advice and suggestions.
Nice car!
Woooow. I love volvo
Good cars but apparently low resale value. Also generally associated with the older generation... and as you describe yourself as an adrenaline junkie...I don't see you fitting the 'older generation' bill
Its such a difficult decision, your input definitely helps and I'm going to keep looking!
Im a great Ford fan myself, but as with all cars you sometimes get a bad one!
This is my latest and I wouldn't swap it for anything else!
Unfortunately, I'm not sure if its Ford to blame or specifically our dealership, We purchased to vehicles (A 2016 Ford Fiesta ST and a 2016 Ford ranger 3.2L Auto) Both gave us incredible amounts of issues and the service times took weeks.
Thats a real shame, I suspect it was a dealer issue.
All cars can have their issues, its just how the dealer manages them and you when a problem arises.
Ive generally found Fords to be really reliable, but thats just my experience.
