So the community called him out, but his responses were smug instead of apologetic. Eventually, the stakeholders withdrew support from the proposal.
It was a reputation suicide at a level that not only got the proposal unfunded, but he lost his consensus witness position as well. Broken trust of this level cannot be salvaged.
Someone got funded by DAO to work on it and they took the money and disappeared.

That's terrible, I am worried about the same happening with Cardano Dao funding.

Improving DAO and Governance models is a huge ongoing challenge for every decentralised community. Yes we can certainly learn from each other.
As @enforcer48 holding people accountable and while funding people who we can trust is something I learned.
