Well Friday here now - but still Thursday in other parts of the world - so here goes.
Do you remember that day when Sydney was overcome by the forces of nature?
Torrential rains with gale-forced winds!
The damage was horrific!!
Reveal spoiler
But in true Sydneysider fashion - we swore we would 'rebuild'... as soon as we got home.

HAHAHA... GOT YOU!
Everyone should know that there are absolutely NO storms, earthquakes, tornadoes, cyclones in SYDNEY, Australia. Just like the people of Sydney - our weather is PERFECT! All the time.
Sydney is truly 'God's Country'
Well maybe not all the time.
There was that one day, back on 22 October 2008 - when it snowed in SYDNEY.
Some thought pigs might fly - but reality was, Sydney was still...
PERFECT!
Come see us down under. Sydney might just be the PERFECT location for the next STEEMFEST too.
However, unless you are willing to fork out nearly $US 1 Million on a 1 bedroom apartment... you might not want to live here.

I am, most certainly...

Sydney is the greatest city in the world.
I lived there for a long time and have travelled the world extensively before and since.
There is no place like it, ANYWHERE!
Nice one SK.
Hearing you TP - there was a time I would walk from Circular Quay, round past the Opera House and through the Botanical Gardens every workday during my lunch break. We might have passed by one another back then. What a great way to eat your lunch hey mate. SirKnight.
Absolutely mate, I lived and worked in Manly and I would sit for lunch overlooking the beach on South Steyne Road or on the East Esplinade looking into the harbour. Even on a bad day it was better than any place I've ever lunched in the UK. Fantastic memories.
Hahaha - you are being a little bit hard on London I think. But yes - Manly is a gorgeous sight. Beach one side - harbour the other. I spent a couple of years in London in fact - maybe 15 or so years ago. Some nice spots in London - but get out of London - beautiful countryside mate! SK.
I sold up in London and moved to the countryside 14 years ago mate. I loved living in their until I didn't if you know what I mean.
Regardless of the great times I had in London they never compared to Sydney, I met Mrs Percy on Manly Wharf and we've been together for 23 years since.
Ha, you don't say. I met MrsKnight on the Bakerloo Line and it has been upwards and onwards from there.
Funny how we both needed to go to the other side of the world to find Mrs Right!
In Sydney right now and your weather is bloody better than ours in QLD at the moment.
Really SD. I though Queensland was.... hmmmm....
"Beautiful one day; perfect the next!"
Hehehehe.
Enjoy your time in Sydney SD.
SirKnight.
One word.... 'Straya
And what a beautiful word that is Mitch - best country in the world mate! SK.
Oooh if next SteemFest will be in OZ, I'd die happy, certainly will be flying home 😂😂😂😂
Wouldn't a Sydney SteemFest be terrific.
Even if one @ausbitbank was to come to Sydney to run a Steemit Mini-Fest, this knight would be there.
SirKnight.
I would as well! My husband and two little sons have never been to Australia, I haven't been home since 2001 yikes
This girl needs to step up her Steemit game to save up 😂😂😂😂
Wow, steemit colorchallenge
Say what?
Ha, ha, ha, flying pigs sure why not? also no volcano's, man that was funny rent is a bit steep there huh? I would love to go see the zoo and the opera house Sydney is a beautiful city. :)
It would be great to have you out here user***283
I only got to see a small bit of Sydney back in 2013 from the airport to the harbor bridge tunnel. My wife was in a hurry to take me home to show off her American lol

You bet yah Abd! Glad you liked it and you are welcome.
You had me until I saw I had to pay the rent in fiat. Maybe once Sydney starts accepting SBD I'll change my mind, but until then I prefer the frozen tundra of NW Indiana.
