RE: Daily Celestial Challenge - Thursday Forces of Nature - in Sydney!

Sydney is the greatest city in the world.
I lived there for a long time and have travelled the world extensively before and since.
There is no place like it, ANYWHERE!
Nice one SK.

Hearing you TP - there was a time I would walk from Circular Quay, round past the Opera House and through the Botanical Gardens every workday during my lunch break. We might have passed by one another back then. What a great way to eat your lunch hey mate. SirKnight.

Absolutely mate, I lived and worked in Manly and I would sit for lunch overlooking the beach on South Steyne Road or on the East Esplinade looking into the harbour. Even on a bad day it was better than any place I've ever lunched in the UK. Fantastic memories.

Hahaha - you are being a little bit hard on London I think. But yes - Manly is a gorgeous sight. Beach one side - harbour the other. I spent a couple of years in London in fact - maybe 15 or so years ago. Some nice spots in London - but get out of London - beautiful countryside mate! SK.

I sold up in London and moved to the countryside 14 years ago mate. I loved living in their until I didn't if you know what I mean.
Regardless of the great times I had in London they never compared to Sydney, I met Mrs Percy on Manly Wharf and we've been together for 23 years since.

Ha, you don't say. I met MrsKnight on the Bakerloo Line and it has been upwards and onwards from there.

Funny how we both needed to go to the other side of the world to find Mrs Right!

Anyone who can get off their arse and move half way round the world for career / travel experiences has proven them-self to be mating material. Under different circumstance - had MrsKnight and myself met at a local pub - nothing may have come of it. So the lesson for young ones looking for love TP - push yourself outside your comfort zone.
