When my husband died last year he was cremated and the kids released his ashes in some of the places that he loved best. But we still purchased a marker stone and put it in the cemetery where the rest of the family has been buried as a memorial to him. I like having a place that I can visit and take flowers to.

Sorry for your loss friend.
Not that i know of any, but marker must be a great place to go and share things to at hard times and at the times of joy.

Part of the comfort for me is knowing that his name and dates are carved in stone and will be there for generations. I have visited my great, great grandfathers grave stones and our great great grandchildren will be able to visit ours.
