I read a lot the last days before I decided to buy HIVE on an exchange.
When I read this and the article about the fact that a central authority is pulling the strings again, I wonder if my decision is right.
As a new user, should you now power up Hive or would you advise against it and not use Steem or Hive?

There's no single central authority pulling any strings. Some accounts have higher power than the others, but as far as I know, the whale users don't love each other too much. Especially the other whales are not serving another whale, and all of them are individuals.
That ensures that things won't turn out like they did on Steem :)
Enjoy Hive and don't stress, there's better things to do than worry about whales.
