Thank you for sharing this wonderful man's story. FYI you can follow the news and get involved via the [Atlantic Philanthropies website] (http://www.atlanticphilanthropies.org).

Thank you for commenting and for encouraging others to follow and support Atlantic Philanthropies. I discovered Chuck a number of years ago and I loved his story from the start. It was a a pleasure to write this article.

Great share. I never heard of this philanthropist and humanitarian before, a truly wonderful legacy and story to tell.

I wish all wealthy people had this kind of compassion, generosity and personal ethics...

Thank you, oc

Your welcome and great comment. I'm so glad that you enjoyed it.

a happy man with lots of good karma

I'd never heard of the man. Shared this to my Facebook.

Very cool.. One would think in his quest to tackle dementia he would have gotten involved in things like Geo Engineering and Vaccines (which probably would have turned Gates off).. Sometimes one has to be unpopular too to help the world.

True - I think that he meant well but he was also a victim of the system.

There is no doubt in my mind that Chuck could have spent his money more wisely but who am I to judge? I have not given 99.98% of my personal net worth away like he did, but I intend to.

My intention with this post was to focus on the principle of "Giving While Living' and that it can inspire and create change - hopefully others will run with it.

I'm with you on Gates (and his eugenics program). I wanted to kick the man in the teeth as I inserted him into the narrative but I chose to be diplomatic as I didn't want his wrongs to hijack the positive message that I was attempting to send.

Thank you for reading and watching my post - your feedback is welcomed and appreciated.

The positive light you have in your article here is really good. You have my support on stuff like this. Your other readers really like this too.
