Well this is gonna seem really corny, but last night I got to spend it with one of my best friends, we are both from Colombia and came to Argentina seeking opportunity and pursuing music, we are still both here, but he is usually really busy as he is a very succesfull live sound engineer and stage manager, so he is usually traveling.
And last night I wasn't going to do much, but he called me up and asked, what are you doing tonight? hehe
So apparently he had been getting everything ready for a great christmas dinner and hadn't told me anything about it, he knew I wasn't going to do anything.
His call, and getting to spend some time with him and his girlfriend and their kitty, just chilling, having some wine and really great food, that was a very unexpected Christmas gift, and it really made my night. He's the closest thing to family I have here.
:)
That's how you spend the holidays, not corny at all. It's really not about the gifts but the people who you celebrate it with! Happy Holidays :)
I completely agree! Happy holidays for you as well! :)
