My husband and I are a bit different when it comes to Christmas! We have family all over the world, so, our Christmas extends through January traveling to visit everyone. This year, we fly to Canada to spend it with his sister, and after that, my parents, daughter, and grandson fly into Vegas and we do another Christmas in January. SO, Jamie (My husband) and I, got the gift of health for each other and bought a membership to Orange Theory Fitness for each other!! (These are the Orange Theory Reindeer - Free Range Orangelopes!).
AND, we got to spend it with my long lost niece and brother! I was adopted, and recently met my birth family. I have 4 brothers that never knew I existed. They know now. :). This is my niece Heather. So bizarre for me as I was raised as an only child. I'm so blessed with 2 amazing families that I get to spend the holidays with.
That is the best way to celebrate the holidays! Great to see you guys sharing your holidays with the Steemit Community!

Christmas in my house is not a boring affair but it can come close to that sometimes. There are usually no decorations to show the festivity or music or partying or gifts either. But there is always the food. 3 large pots of delicious rice and a pot of beans, so much meat I sincerely couldn't chew anymore, a large bowl of coleslaw, drinks all around, lots of leftovers. We had some friends over too. So even though we don't do the gift giving part, I got to have the gift of spending time with family and friends. Especially my sisters. I don't normally stay home so it was really nice to be back and cook and eat and have fun with them. 😍😍😍
I got a Christmas Tree this year for Christmas and I got to decorate it.
But I also got a Playstation too. But I am more happy about the Christmas tree because I love Christmas trees :)

I drew one on a window, colored it green and red and taped it and put presents all under it, lol!!! It was actually cute and today no mess to clean up, spend more time on Crypto, haha!

Well, my present was quite hard to hide, since it's huge, but even though I did try to figure out what it is, I was quite surprised. I was almost sure that it is some kind of heavy tool I need around house, but they got me more than right this year :)
My family knows how much I love cycling and how lazy and err... bigger I can get during long winter since I cannot ride, and still like to eat like I do ;))
So they decided to give me this: indoor trainer for my faithful bicycle. And they could not get it better, since, as you can see, present is already used for test ride :))

My favorite gift was this easel that my husband gave me, and it is the thought he put into it. Excuse my unfinished art, my art skills are super rusty. I got pretty good at painting in my teenage years, but I quit because my siblings kept destroying my artwork. My husband has encouraged me many times to start painting again, and I kept shrugging it off, and told him we didn't have the space. This Christmas, he bought me a fold away easel that would not take up a lot of space, so that I could start painting again. He is a thoughtful man, and I am a lucky woman.
