I'm fresh into Steemit and pleased to find a familiar name. Napoleon Hill had his Success Colony in the early 1930s in Saugerties, NY at what was called Shagbark Pond. The vibes there were intense. The first two events that became the Woodstock Festival were planned there in the late 1960s under Group 212, an intermedia art colony. I bought the two largest buildings there in 1969 and put three patents under my belt within a dozen years. I attribute that to the same vibes that attracted Hill there a half century before. I like the concept of Steemit as a site but we should never discount the power of the physical site to inspire.
