Yeah I saw that on the Appics site. Did you hear about the Vice ICO that is also being built on the Steem blockchain? They are airdropping for free 1.52 vice tokens on Steemit users for every 1 Steem in our wallets. Initial coin value will be $0.05. That's not a bad value for a dolphin. Suppoman predicts the coin goes to $5 shortly after ICO so we are talking some major value for free.

I have to admit, I was a little put off by the initial $10k requirement for the Pre-Pre-Sale. Originally I thought it was the only pre-sale, and felt that setting the buy in that high was a bit elitist. I don't have 10k to throw around, especially not on an ICO, SMT or otherwise.
I did click your link and go put my email in, though I have not received the email invite yet, and frankly I thought I signed up some time ago with the original ICO announcement. But if you get a referral bonus, so much the better. I will keep an eye on my email for the confirmation link and see what comes of it.
I've never had much use for Instagram personally, so I don't know how much use the Appics product will be to me, but I can certainly see the value, and one should never shy away from a profitable coin just because they don't use the product. I'd love to own Apple stock, even though I am an Android user.

Yeah, the pre Ico was sold out fast in like 22 minutes. With the real Ico coming in a few weeks at the starting price at .12, I think it’s a good deal to get in the ground floor of something that can pretty big. Thanks for signing up! I have held off posting my huge collection on pictures on Instagram because I want to get paid for it. Instagram is worse than youtube, at least you can make money on youtube, you can get some swag of whatever if you have Instagram fame, it's kind of silly. I want to get paid.

I've had no interest in Instagram, but this is very exciting.
Built on the Steem platform, this is going to rock.
So many of my friends do use Instagram and Facebook, and I've been trying to get them to understand that they could be earning and haveing so much more fun here at Steemit.
Perhaps Appics will appeal to them and help them understand how rewards for content will work for them too.

I was watching the video and reading now the site and the white paper and it is interesting that @ned is as an advisor it gives it a lot of authority and confidence that it will be a good investment. I have not read a lot about the smart tokens but after watch the video and listen about XAP and that is in the steem blockchain I understand better.
It is interesting and at the same time annoying. Cause now I have so much love for the community in here and have another independent community where You have to create more content it sounds a lot of work but at the same time cause it is another opportunity to get more rewards and be creative and just create more and more.
The video and their app look bomb. And the idea of having so many things together like photography, livestream, video.. all in the same place sounds very interesting.
