Chess problem 64 / Schachaufgabe 64

Hi chess fans! :)
After a little break I am back with a new - and I hope quite some headache causing - chess problem for you to solve.
What's the aim? Well, white has to check mate in no more than eight moves against the best possible black defense!
Do you see how? If yes, let me know ... Have fun now! :)

Hallo Schachfreunde! :)

Hello @jaki01 , I could find this:

#1

1)Ng6+ Nxg6

If hxg6 (Rh8 #) or If Fxg6 (F7+ Kh8 + Rxh7 + Nxh7 +F8 queen #)

2)Rxh7+ Gxf6
3)Rxf7+C5
4)Rh7+
any other other move leads to RfG2 #

#2

1)G2+ G6
2)Nxg6+ hxg6
3)Th8+ Kxh8 (forced)
4)Kxf8+C5
5)Rh2#

This is all, my brain is cluttered and I need to sleep. I give up!

First of all: I don't understand your #2: 1. g2+ is an impossible move.

Concerning #1:

  1. Ng6 (it's no check, "+", by the way) Nxg6
  2. Rxh7 gxf6
  3. Rxf7 c5
  4. Rhh7

Now you mean that white will win with Rfg7# (not Rfg2)?

What will you play after:

  1. Ng6 Nxg6
  2. Rxh7 gxf6
  3. Rxf7 Nf4?

What will you play after:

  1. Ng6 gxh6?

How about:

1.Ng6

a)1...hxg6 2.Rh8#
b)1...fxg6 2.f7+ Kh8 3.Rh7+Kxh7 4.f8R or Q#
c)1...Nxg6 2.Rxh7 gxf6 3.Rxf7
c1) 3....c5 4.Rhh7 and white will mate with Rfg7
c2) 3....Nf4 4.Rg3+ Kh8 5.Rxf6 Kh7 6.Kf7! Nh5 7. Rh3 and mate next move with 8. Rxh7.
d)1....gxh6 2.Ne7+ Kh8 3.Kxf8! c5 4.Rg3 Qg2 5.Rxg2 and mate next move with Rg8.

... and mate next move with 8. Rxh7.

You mean with 8. Rxh5? :)

d)1....gxh6 2.Ne7+ Kh8 3.Kxf8! c5 4.Rg3 Qg2 5.Rxg2 and mate next move with Rg8.

  1. ... h5 4. Rg3 h6, and now?

.. and mate next move with 8. Rxh7.

You mean with 8. Rxh5? :)

Yes, I meant 8.Rxh5. Damned clerical errors :-)

d)1....gxh6 2.Ne7+ Kh8 3.Kxf8! c5 4.Rg3 Qg2 5.Rxg2 and mate next move with Rg8.

... h5 4. Rg3 h6, and now?

4.Kxf7 followed by 5.Ng6+, 6.Nf8+ and 7. Rg8 mate.

You mean 5. Kxf7. :-)

Right, or also 5. Rg8+ Kh7 6. Rg7+ Kh8 7. Kxf7 and then 8. Ng6#. :)

Yes, 5. Kf7 :-). I had it that way but corrected it ...it is too hot :_)

That's clearly enough to deserve a little upvote. :)

You may check the complete solution above ...

hello to all @manishkalia , @theguruasia not the chess players we have not left steemit alone that our friends @jaki01 had not published more, check my profile there is a chess community we play every Saturday. Greetings here the answer I take a gray

Cg7 gxh6
Ce8+ Rh8
Rxf8 h6
Tg8+ Rh7
Rxf7 e4
Tg7+ Rh8
Cg6++

C = Knight?
But even then 1. Ng7 is not possible ...

friend only sorry that I speak Spanish and use a translator and C is a horse, but I put it in English
Ng7 gxh6
Ne8 + Kh8
Kxf8 h6
Rg8 + kh7
Kxf7 e4
Rg7 + Kh8
Ng6 ++

Ng6 sorry

... And the second move Ne7+, not Ne8+, right?
Anyway, the full solution is out, check above, please. :)

  1. Ng7 is still not possible. Please check the coordinates! :)

@jaki01,
I think most of chess players moved out due to low earnings of STEEM! They might be back and hope you get correct answer for this challenge too!

Cheers~

Hahaha, I'm still here, despite of the Steem crisis. Sometimes the bad times bring up new opportunities :)

Ha ha, cool and strategic game for sure, and chess is one of the fun game and it also increases the concentration levels because we have to use the critical thinking to take the effective moves.

And i am not much in Chess but yes, sometimes i tend to play it according my mood, i am more into Football and Athletics. And running is my passion and i perform it regularly.

And i hope that someone will going to Check Mate, and also i want to appreciate you for this post because these kind of posts really increase the quality and effective engagements.

Wishing you an great day and stay blessed. 🙂

The complete solution is out already, check above if you like. :)

In my opinion you are truly reflecting as professional in this game. 🙂

Thanks for your chess article. It is a good work
Thanks @jaki01
have a great day

It's nice to see chess players are still around here. Good contest & congratulations for all correct answer providers. They won a good prize

When will you publish more chess quiz, i wish to participate.

When I have time and am in the mood. :)

But as you see, this is number #64 already, so it happens from time to time. :)

Ok I will keep checking your blog. Thank you for the reply.
