Celebrating Christmas

in #christmas16 hours ago

Not in the best of shape but hubby insisted that we should get out of the house for some time since it was Christmas. I too felt that being at home for 4 days continuously was making me dull further. So, keeping it simple both of us went out for a quiet dinner. The problem is that there is nothing quiet in this time, wherever you go there is loud noise and many people due to the festive season. I did enjoy the ambiance and the dinner was a feast but then after an hour I wanted to get back home soon, as I was not able to sit for long.

After coming home, I did feel good, the change of environment did help on my mood and I slept peacefully at night as well. The restaurant we chose for dinner is named Markaiz, it has a mixed cuisine but their continental dishes are famous. Hubby is not fond of continental food, he prefers Asian cuisine, I prefer both and enjoy. I wanted to visit this place for a long time as had heard a lot about it, the reviews are very good.

I find the decor of this restaurant very cute, it's all flowery. Even in the interiors there is a lot of greens, which makes the place look fresh and vibrant.

Their ginger bread house is amazingly made. I have never seen such a big one, quite fascinated with it.

They have special Christmas decorations done. This is just a part of the restaurant, this is the indoor seating, the outdoor seating has lot of plants, I would have loved to sit out but then due to my health I preferred sitting indoors as it was cozy.

After we were settled in some time only the Santa came and then there were jingles and music and he was dancing around. It was a jolly atmosphere.

One lady was very spontaneous to dance with him. I feel very shy in these matters.

To start with we ordered a dish of Croquettes and Prawns, both of them were yummy and after that I forgot to click pictures of the food. I ordered a dish of Ravioli and hubby ordered Thai curry rice. The food was delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed and finished everything.

They had also set up a Christmas tree, bright and vibrant

The Santa was distributing sweets, he came to us as well.

Even though I was not at my best we had an entertaining evening.

The most important thing about the outing is you felt a little better and that's what change of environment does.

I hope you are getting much better now.

Happy holidays to you and your family
