Longshan temple in Taipei is a very very old temple and therefore the national historical building protected by law. It is also a spiritual center for residents in greater Taipei area to seek peace and say prayers. Our family went there a few weeks ago just for the reason that we had not visited it for such a long time. So I share the photos I took at that night here. I hope I can convey its power to you through these photos. For those interested in knowing more of it, please check it here.
台北龍山寺。非常有名。老建築，信仰中心，觀光景點，老舊社區，常民去處....
然而我已厭倦了旅遊文章。照片湊合著看吧，我只是想說說照片以外的事。介紹不說的，廣告不拍的，但卻是你到這裡絕對不會忘卻的景象與特點... 就是遊民，或叫街友...
廟前廣場，至少上百，周邊區域也滿滿都是。這裡，是街友的家。他們的家，在街上，也只能在這，萬華的街上。看似一切活動都正常進行的地方，也有捷運，也有便利商店，飯館小吃，一應俱全。但到處都是"他們"，如果你不知道，你剛到這裡，一定會感到一種不舒服。要不，有人躺在街上，要不，坐在地上，看著你，看著你為什麼來這裡，因為這裡是他們的家，但他們卻沒有權力不讓你來。
每個坐在路邊的人，身後該有多少辛酸痛苦的人生故事？放眼望去，該有上千年時間的無奈吧？走過他們，只能當作視而不見，這是我能做的起碼。只有五歲的兒子會好奇地不停盯著看，還好教育還算成功，他沒有大聲說出太令人難堪的話，雖然我相信，他們早已都麻木，或許甚至希望有人來嘲笑他們，讓他們感受到活著？
龍山寺裡充滿著希望人生更好的信徒們，龍山捷運廣場裡，有許多販賣天機命運的算命者，諷刺的是，就在方圓咫尺之內，就在寺門之外，這裡是北台灣命運失敗者的聚集地。東山再起？不如給我下一餐吧！
看完龍山寺，吃完當地小食，沒有多做逗留，畢竟是是非之地。走入乾淨明亮的捷運站，我才有機會回想他們。感想只有一個：感謝龍山寺周邊，收留他們，讓他們至少還有彼此的存在，在明天太陽又出來之前 ...

LongShan temple is a very nice constructed temple with ancient stories, doesn't matter during the day or night, It is always beautiful on its own. I admire your photography skill, it's very vibrant although night shot could be pretty tricky. Look forward to your next post.
