夏天已悄然离开，这几天苏城由于受台风边缘影响，温度适宜，小风吹得游人醉… 趁着这云淡风轻，秋高气爽，走走苏州环古城河健身步道。
Autumn is always my favorite season. Thanks to the good weather, I took a walk on Suzhou Ancient Moat Ring Fitness Trail and had a chance to enjoy the breeze and sunshine.
苏州环古城河健身步道围绕着古城河内侧一周，长达15.5公里，有着历史变迁、历史文化沉淀，每一段都一定能给人留下不同的心境。由于体力有限，今天走了南半段，路线为：相门—蛇门—盘门—胥门，走走停停，历时3个小时。
Despite its rather glamorous name, the Ancient Moat Ring Fitness Trail is just a lovely walking route along the river. The whole route is about 15.5 km, which has many beautiful sights, to impress you with both views and history. It took me 3 hours today to finish half of the trail, from Xiangmen to Xumen.

从相门古城墙入口开始，我们往南感受历史的踪迹和枕河人家。
We started from Xiangmen Ancient City Wall, and walked toward south.
苏州大学外步道 | Trail outside Soochow University
苏州大学外的一段步道，有着苏州传统的粉墙黛瓦，亭台楼阁，即使在今天这种日照过分充足的日子里也能感受到凉爽。每个小亭子都有题字，充满着书香气息....
Small bridges and flowing water, white walls and black tiles speak elegance along the trail outside Soochow University.
羡慕着这临水而居，闹中取静。有一种幸福，叫在阳台种生活（照片没拍）。枕河而居的人们在阳台上放着各类小植物，生机盎然。每隔一段都安装了健身设施，可供市民健身，苏州市政府也是很用心。
I particularly enjoyed the chance to get off the main roads and wandered along a more peaceful, paved path with views over the river. I do envy those who live by the river...
一边胡思乱想，一边感叹人生，不知不觉就走到了蛇门。由于蛇门正在修葺，所以就不上图了。穿过桂花公园外围，有个热心的老奶奶对我们说，走里面的小路，太阳晒不到~ 这突如其来的陌生关怀，总是那么令人感动...
The sun at noon is quite strong. A kind granny guided me with a tree-lined trail, how sweet is she!
盘门 | Pan Gate
走走停停歇歇，总算走到了盘门。远看这景，有没有一点水泊梁山的意味呢？盘门是位于苏州古城南面城墙上的一座水陆城门，面临古老的京杭大运河，是苏州仅存的古城门遗迹和中国唯一保存完整的古水陆城门。
Pan Gate is located on the south side of Suzhou, which is both water and land gates in ancient time. In front of the ancient Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, the Pan Gate is the only remaining ancient city gate in Suzhou and China's only well preserved ancient water and land gates.
哼着“粉红的回忆”，不知不觉就走到了我最爱的百花洲公园。看着眼前的景色，真真是明白了岁月静好的意义....
Occasionally, boats pass by, but otherwise there is very little traffic noise – making for a lovely afternoon stroll...
据说苏州工业园区的环金鸡湖步道也正在紧锣密鼓地修建。如果你也喜欢散步，喜欢胡思乱想，喜欢享受太阳与生活，我会带你欣赏古城河，感受金鸡湖! So, welcome to Suzhou!
