我出国旅游的次数已经数不胜数，我去过欧洲，美国，南美，亚洲，澳大利亚——随你说吧，我多半都去过。
I have travelled abroad more times than I can count, I have been through Europe, America, South America, Asia, Australia - you name it I have been there.
我觉得有趣的是我能从其他的文化当中学到很多东西。然而我认为很多我们能学习的东西都是某文化当中的人与生俱来的，就如生下来就享有的一种权利。
What I find fascinating is learning about different cultures and what we can learn from other cultures is truly fascinating. I do believe a lot of the things that can be learned are however deeply ingrained in people of a particular culture that they are almost a birth right for being born into a particular culture.
我认为中国文化有许多方面都应该与世界各地分享，而且如果这能够引起足够的注意，世界就会变得更加美好。
There are many aspects of Chinese culture that I believe can be shared with the rest of the world and if some took notice the world would be a better place.
我认为目前需要讨论的有3大主要方面。记住中国也能向其他的文化学习。这只是一些我认为很基础的，在中国人中根深蒂固的元素，它们能够促使我们向前进，甚至做出巨大的飞跃。
I believe there are 3 core aspects that need to be discussed here, keep in mind China too can learn from other cultures. These are just some fundamentals that I believe are so engrained into the Chinese people that we are able to move things forward and take great leaps as a result
努力 Hardwork
努力的重要性在中国人中如此根深蒂固，要取代他的地位是非常困难的。然而，这种习惯或者说价值观在很多其他的文化中是非常稀缺的。太多时候我和来自不同文化背景的同事们共事，都会发现它们的职业道德远远不够。这是因为懒惰吗？不是，更像是一种不同的行为方式。但是，和一些没有足够职业道德的人工作，有时候的确很令人懊恼。
The value of hardwork is so embedded into the Chinese people, any alternative is almost mind blowing. However, this particular habit or value seems to go lacking in many cultures. Far too often I have worked with colleagues from different backgrounds and their work ethic is a fraction of what it should be. Is this down to laziness? No, it’s more so just a different approach. But, ultimately it can be frustrating at times having to associate with others on this level without people being able to keep up the right work ethic along the way.
一份付出一分收获。
We reap what we sow.
家庭 Family
人们都非常尊重长辈，在中国文化里抛弃年老的父母或亲人是根本想都不可能想的。父母们照顾孩子，服务孩子，只为让他们过上好的生活。而在父母无法自理时，就轮到孩子服务父母了。这就是对待家庭的态度，这创造了一种美好的关于爱，尊重与荣誉的理念。这些价值体系在孩子们很小的时候就会被灌输。
Elder generations are treated with the utmost respect, the thought of abandoning and aging parent or loved one is just not even possible within Chinese culture. Parents look after their children and serve them to provide them with a life, Children look after their parents to serve them when they cannot serve themselves anymore. It is this attitude to family, which creates such a wonderful sense of love, respect and honor. The value systems are engrained at a young age.
我明白，父母随时都依靠你，肯定不是很好受。但是如果回想过去，我们就能够理解这为什么如此重要。
I know your parents breathing down your neck all the time aren’t the greatest thing in the world. But, in hindsight and assistance by the hands of time. We begin to understand why this is in fact so important
美德与尊重 Virtue and Respect
这一点值得争论，我确信！ 但我认为中国人能保持一种高程度的美德。我在旅游的过程中太经常目睹人们不专业或者感情用事。但在中国这是不会发生的。从小我们就被教导，在面临困难时要保持冷静，并把困难当作成长的工具。
Although this is debatable, I’m sure! The Chinese people maintain a high degree of virtue. I have seen this so often when travelling that people become borderline unprofessional and reactive with their emotions. This is not the case here. From a young age we are taught to remain composed in the face of adversity and we are to use it as a tool of growth.
在西方世界里，发展出了一种难以置信的以“自我”为中心的文化。当然，在中国也有非常以自我为中心的人，但总体来说，能够不仅对自己尊重，还对他人尊重，是我们从小就被教导的一种核心观念。
There is an incredible “me” culture that has developed in the Western world, which we do not see in China. Sure, we all know someone who is incredibly self focused, but as a whole the ability to maintain respect not just for yourself but for others is fundamentally at the core of what we are taught when young.
尊重不代表屈尊，而是代表能够做出正确的选择，即使这个选择不是最容易的。
Respect is not bowing down, it’s about doing the right thing and not necessarily the easiest thing.
我们知道这只是一些文化差异，或者说西方文化值得学习的地方。无论我们对其他国家有什么看法或者其他国家对我们有什么看法，我们都能互相学习。
As we know these are just some of the differences or some of the things that Western culture could benefit from. Regardless of our views towards other countries, or countries to ours. We can all learn from each other.
记得各个国家都有属于自己的历史是很重要的。有些时候你不能完全理解为什么其他人会做出某件事情，但你需要时刻提醒自己，它们可能对你也有着同样的感受。
It is important to remember that we all have a past and a history, and when times are challenging and you can’t quite understand why people act in a certain way. You need to remind yourself they too may be feeling the same way towards you.
中国有着丰富的只是和历史，这对很多文化而言都是很宝贵的。但中国也可以，也需要从他人学习。
China has an abundance of knowledge and history that is valuable to many cultures. But China too can learn and needs to learn from others.

which means the opposite of laziness.
I think, if a word doesn't exist in your language, you can't have clear concept of it.
