besides the small downtrend based on inflation and with no major dumping, steem's value has been sustained this week around the .80$ mark so looking good :)
yeah, looking better than anything in the past year........since last summer actually....but the trending page now is quite a bit better......the ones who got on early do have a big advantage still....But I just checked Alexa rankings and Steemit.com is now around 6,400 in popularity. Before, it was at 8,000. That'a very big jump.
I don't plan on getting rid of any of my cryptocurrencies anytime soon I believe in next 2-3 years majority of cryptos will be main stream and adapted by majority of the world making a lot of millionaires for those that are patient
It is amazing how we let our sentiments to influence a lot in our trading decisions. It was great way to explain it! Our brains are not prepared to -40% drawdowns. There will be a lot drawdowns in steem in its way to 8.00usd+!
Spot on stellabelle !!!
Sometimes you have to have faith. There is a reason we all ponied up in the first place( hopefully through due diligence) and as long as those fundamentals and reasons still exist ......
I take a very long view of things like this, as a"silver bug" I have learned much patience, lots and lots of it. I for one will not make the same mistake as I did with BitCoin .....should have bought a lot more and kept it cuz I paid less than a dollar each for them @#$% had over 2000 of em @#$% sold them back to the person I bought them from for a slight profit @#$%
I also sold a bunch of Steem for silly prices over the last couple months, not because I wanted to but because I needed the money. At least we can always earn more by posting quality content.
Oops, sorry about my previous comment about people being fools! I certainly understand the concept of getting in a pinch and needing money quick. But people thinking Steem was a sinking ship and bailing out seemed somewhat foolish. Something inside told me that Steemit would rebound and that I should just hang on.
you probably did buy my steem. But i've been selling and earning it for an entire year, so I am ok with this. I never gave up hope, i just took a mental break, hoping things would iron themselves out. it appears to be happening now. SOOOOOO HAPPPYYY
There was little evidence in March that things were going to turn around. I have powered down a lot lately because I needed the cash in other places, and to pay bills, but the beauty is as long as I keep posting, I can earn it back.
I would have about 8 or so BTC more if I hadn't powered down and at that time, things did not look good.
But I've been on here since June, and when I think about it, it's still amazing the amount I have earned.
yes, it has changed my life. I think that is why i got so upset that things were not going in a healthy direction. It's was a huge mind-fuck. It made me question reality and my own sanity too....
Can someone explain to me exactly how it works...what I understand, I post and can make money. So i have posted a few things and I got some money well it shows that I should have money but i dont see it in my account . if it ever gets there then what?
Things one could do with .07c STEEM (or .5 BTC) back then ...
Buy DASH, ETH, ETC, DCR, LTC (and others) before their rises.
I know you did at least one of those, and the STEEM lull led you to a new opportunity that created an influx of crypto, not to mention friends, that likely matched or surpassed those mystical 5 BTC you think you lost.
In the end, you are probably better off doing what you did. The rewards you earned, that you think you lost, simply aren't being displayed to you in BTC. :)
I'm just sitting on my SP like a very patient frog on her lily pad.
If STEEM & SBD keep going up, I may have some pretty comfortable living ahead. :)
in a few months from now there will be others who will say:
:D
let us hope that is the path we are on.....it does feel like it, though.

i totally agree with you. we are the lucky ones.
Yes we are.
It is amazing how we let our sentiments to influence a lot in our trading decisions. It was great way to explain it! Our brains are not prepared to -40% drawdowns. There will be a lot drawdowns in steem in its way to 8.00usd+!
Decide if you think a coin has a good future.
Invest.
Go away (or don't look) for 5 years.
It's really easy.
good advice
ahahaah well yes! ahahahah

The price of steemit will continue to rise
Getting all kinds of gains :p

Ya gotta learn contrarianism. When everything has gone to shit, that's when you buy. I wonder if I bought your Steem @stellabelle :-P

We can't beat ourselves up. I sold a lot as well.

@stellabelle, patience is indeed a virtue that most people lack.
Same hater later in a post:
"How I was scammed off 5 bitcoin because of Steemit, and how stemmit price ruined me"
rekt

Who was sold, they lose the opportunity to grow there Steem dollors.
lol! :-D
People had to be fools to sell at such low prices. I won't even consider selling until one Steem approaches $100. Think that will ever happen?
😂😂😂
