Introduction to this weeks page
A rather traditional page, but with a vivid cliffhanger. The fellowship seems to have agreed on bringing the swords (see page 35), the coat Gwendolyn had as a gift from Marcos (see her wearing it on page 51) and Airy Aibell (see page 25). They also have 377 bitcoins which Phill and Morty has been hoarding, but question is what they can be used for when trying to hide from different factions of the Five Eyes. you need to meet a person who will help and at the same time knows what bitcoin is... the comic is only at dec. 2016 and nobody knew back then :)
So what is ectosperm... it is a new word I invented, but it refers to ectoplasm, a pseudo-scientific or occult term for a substance that occurs in connection with spiritualist seances. Most of them revealed as hoaxes.

Until now we haven't heard much about the background of Loretta, the large, bearded transsexual, but we know that he (or she), is very loyal to Gwendolyn. So I choose the Trooper by Iron Maiden as Loretta is sort of Gwendolyn's trooper. But also to show that he originally was a hooligan from Tottenham who enjoyed some nice Heavy Metal.
The song was inspired by the famous event from the Battle of Balaclava, 1854, which took place during the Crimean War, where a brigade of British horsemen by mistake was sent charging a Russian Cannon battery with catastrophic results. The slaughter was famously reported in a poem by the Poet Laureate of the United Kingdom, Alfred, lord Tennyson.

I was going to mention the £ coming before the amount. It's another inconsistency around the world that bedevils us programmers.
