One time when my husband and I stayed at our family's condo in downtown Chicago we went for a nice long walk. It was a summer day and a bit on the hot side. We walked all the way up to Navy Pier and got a little lost coming back so we ended up walking like five miles around the city. We stopped in a bar on Navy Pier and had a beer and then before we got back to the condo we stopped at the store nearby and had some gelato. We were very tired and a bit overheated. But the building has a nice pool so we cooled off in it. Sometimes getting lost isn't such a bad thing. If I have to be lost I prefer it is somewhere that we could jump in a cab if we needed to.
