RE: Steemit Community Etiquette on Discord

in #community7 years ago (edited)

I am not angry. Call to actions within a post is not the same as spamming someone. People do not have to read my posts, if they chose to they get a call to action at the bottom, this is not an infringement of privacy and is also not spam. Calls to action are common in social media. lets look at this this way, all the famous Youtubers would say something like, dont forget to follow, leave a comment below and subscribe. You have heard this on youtube right? They are adding content to a video, like I have added content to my post. That is so different to contacting people and telling them to upvote and follow you. People chose to read your post, if they dont like the content they can downvote or flag. I am not sending begging letters either.....there is a big difference in a call to action and bad etiquette. Does that make sense to you?

I did not say in my post that I will upvote you if you upvote me (Upvote for Upvote) and I also have not agreed to follow you if you follow me. There is a clear distinction between a call to action and spam

Terima kasih, saya akan belajar lagi dan terus mencoba untuk menulis dan saya akan membawa berita ini ke orang-orang baru yang bergabung dengan komunitas steemit di negara saya

glad you understand the difference

Yes, its completely different between begging and "advertising", i don't think the business man posted a advertisement on newspaper is a beggar....

there is a massive difference in advertising and begging, you are right

Ya, steemit rule allowed promoting our article to be read (advertising) but we can not beg
