Honestly, I agree that this is a rather barbaric ritual, especially if it can cause death or serious injury to children.
I also agree with the point that in our present time society is very quick with judging behavior.
If using foul language toward the opposite sex already causes a big uproar in the media and is labelled as "sexual assault" rightfully or not, then circumcission or clitoral removal as practiced by certain religious group deserves to be called out for what it is.

I agree. The language is a bit strong.
But is circumcision not something that ALL members of this religious group subscribe to? In this sense, there is no false statement being made. As far as I am informed, this is common practice for the majority of Jews and Muslims.
@herrleeb would be well advised to use better language, however, it appears as if he also made the statement "Not all Jews are bad". Where is the racism here?
