RE: Guess the April Fools lie

I did not expect the pro shop to have a bowling alley, but since it does, it definitely went up several notches in my book!

I've been in places like that before, and I'm always fascinated by them, but I don't know enough about any of it to make any kind of informed decision when it comes to buying. I was into fishing a long time ago when my boys were younger, but that was probably 1998.

Now, before I totally lose my man card here, I do better at Home Depot. However, when push comes to shove, I'm best at Fry's.

Don't ask me why. It just worked out that way. :)

But hardware stores can be so boring.

  • I've yet to see a stuffed buffalo at Lowes!
    • I was really bummed out I looked and found nothing I needed! haha
      • On the other hand... No man has ever said he has enough tools!!!

Oh, I agree, hardware stores can be pretty boring. A Fry's though can get very exciting, and very expensive. :)

I think it was a Cabella's in Las Vegas where we went. Huge store, with a full-sized one engine plane hanging from the ceiling, stuffed animals everywhere. They actually had two bowling lanes and some other game that I didn't get to try. I thought it was pretty awesome. I need to fish out those pictures :)
