I took too many pictures
and don't want to add them all to this post,
so will do something a bit different
- This calls for audience participation...
See if you can pick the April Fools lie from this list of things I saw this weekend.
Only 1 guess allowed per comment and I will post a pic if it's NOT the lie...

Then let someone else comment before you guess again...
If you win, I will send you half of all the fishing lures I bought.
I did not expect the pro shop to have a bowling alley, but since it does, it definitely went up several notches in my book!
I've been in places like that before, and I'm always fascinated by them, but I don't know enough about any of it to make any kind of informed decision when it comes to buying. I was into fishing a long time ago when my boys were younger, but that was probably 1998.
Now, before I totally lose my man card here, I do better at Home Depot. However, when push comes to shove, I'm best at Fry's.
Don't ask me why. It just worked out that way. :)
But hardware stores can be so boring.
Oh, I agree, hardware stores can be pretty boring. A Fry's though can get very exciting, and very expensive. :)
I think it was a Cabella's in Las Vegas where we went. Huge store, with a full-sized one engine plane hanging from the ceiling, stuffed animals everywhere. They actually had two bowling lanes and some other game that I didn't get to try. I thought it was pretty awesome. I need to fish out those pictures :)
The fool is you didn't buy any fishing lures.
:)
Hmm Evidently that was too easy... haha

Hooray, I win half of nothing! Wait, how much is that again?
:)
The company is Kinze. Son-in-law used to work for them...
My view
from up there...
Mahi Mahi
As @summertooth figured out, I didn't find any fishing lures I needed. In fact, I didn't buy me anything! I know amazing huh?
Haha, looks lile I am late to the party. I was going to guess bowling or mermaids as being falsehoods. Well, it's a good thing I looked through the comments! Too bad I didn't win half of your lures you didn't find.
Bass Pro is not the first thing that comes to mind when you think about going bowling! haha It was kinda cool the way they had it all set up.
Haha, I actually know the feeling. I go to Cabelas sometimes and I usually look but don't buy!
“The Duh Moines Bass Pro Shop has a bowling alley.” is the lie. I think...
(you hear an engine rev and horn honk)
MEEP! MEEP!
(the window on the humvee rolls down to reveal a warm smiling face)
(the window rolls up and the engine roars as it drives to the next person on the list)
