We live in Ticino Switzerland right next to the epicentre of the world’s most alarming outbreak of the Covid 19 virus. My business is shut down and I have not had in person human contact with anyone outside my immediate family for several weeks. But you know what? I’m making the best of it!
Let’s get positive. If you are on lock down what good thing are you doing?
Here Are a Few Samples to Get you Going
My house is right on the edge of the woods so I can still go hiking and I’m doing it every day now! That's the lake of Como and its namesake city in the distance!
Sometimes I head up the mountain behind my house, lay back and meditate. That's good for me in these troubled times!

I'm a picnic girl, I love to picnic anywhere in nature and as I live near the lake Annecy, we often go there to have a lunch on grass...
Since the quarantine in France (this will be two weeks tomorrow), we have adapted our picnic to the confinement and lunch occasionaly in the garden of my neighbour as she allows us to enjoy it because we have no balcony...so we need just a little place in the grass, and my neighbour keep her distance, yet we can exchange some news and she is happy because she feel so lonely alone ^_^. we bring our own material out of the garage :
I enjoy the flowers and a bit of nature there and I even made a post about it,showing we can keep doing things and having fun despite the situation 😃
I would enjoy being at your beautiful nature place ! I had the chance to go to lake Como a few years ago, and we really adored it ! we stayed one day in Milano, which is a beautiful place to discover and make photos indeed, but what we enjoyed most was our stay and cruise on the lake, in fact this is a bit like our lake Annecy but in even more wild and more new for us, so it was an enchanted experience !
Have a @kus-knee
Great comment. Thanks a lot!
Just looking for the new hope at the Sun Rising.
Even though in Indonesia, especially at the province of Aceh, Covid-19 only started outbreaking here, precisely at the beginning of March in Jakarta, at least entering the 4th week there were already more than 1000 positive and 80 people were declared dead.
In Aceh, my area of domiciled, there are only 4 positive cases and 2 have died. Lock down was only implemented last week, so it still feels like this. Here we are also still able to leave the house because social distancing takes precedence over comprehensive lockdown.
So I also can still capture some sun photos illuminating the earth on this morning with my son.
Nice to see you smiling. Thanks for the photos!
My pleasure, I think must share this post to able many people in the world looks the new hope also :D
Love the contest and thank you for the chance :)
Nice initiative and I like the way you have been spending these days. Living close to nature is a real blessing now. I am also trying to spend as much time outdoors as possible and since we are currently on a little remote island in the North Atlantic, finding places without people is not difficult at all. That is me overlooking the volcanic lakes of Sete Cidades here on Sao Miguel :)
Stay safe and healthy everyone.
This photo dates back to Saturday 7 March, when there were still no traffic restrictions and I was able to go for a walk on the beach with "my" dogs.
I love to observe the arrival of spring and the vigorous continuation of life on earth...
Now the walks are restricted by law 200 meters away from home, but having the good fortune to live in the countryside, I allow myself to break this imposition with common sense, since I rarely meet other humans on the way.
In the rest of the time I read, study, meditate and enjoy closer contact with the family.
A huge hug!
Very nice photos and activities!
Very cool. The VW bug was my first car when I was 18 years old!
I have done a post of my self isolation on my deserted island on Koh Samui in Thailand staying on the beach water front with all i need fresh air , beautiful sunsets and lots of fresh fruits and veggies that can be buy cheap from the locals i wouldn't want to be any place else feel safe and relaxed here 😊 🌞 😀

Hi friend @kus-knee! Thank you for a wonderful contest! I go to my father's village and clean the garden, and then we do great sacred fire!
We sit with my Darynka by the fire and feel the fire cleanse our souls of all negativity!

Nice post!
Wow, that's great you are really blessed. I didn't get a chance to go our vacation house in the country. Home near the woods and nature at this moment of Corona lockdown crisis is heaven to me.
Yes we are blessed that we can still go outside!

Great! Don' forget to add a photo here!
I like an idea to spend more time with my lovely one. And, as we both love cycling, why not leave this city to enjoy some nature

I like what you've don!
As we have a 5 month old we are spending most of our time indoors and looking within for things to do. Once a day we walk to the beautiful Abbey Gardens of Bury St Edmunds, where we live and stand by the aviary and listen to the Canaries and Finches chatter. As I am now working from home and we cannot take any unnecessary travel (to the woods or any pretty place!) I'm getting as much time with my family as I can. As you can see, everyone is involved with the household projects! :)
Listening to the birds is good therapy and you can never go wrong spending more time with the family. How were the instructions that came with the furniture? Any pieces left over? :)
Very true :) Oh it wasn't too difficult, all pieces used and went together no stress!
