What is a Short Story.
A short story is a story with a fully developed theme but significantly shorter and less elaborate than a novel. It makes use of plot, resonance, and other dynamic components to a far greater degree than is typical of an anecdote. You can read it in less than 90 seconds.

A love like this will never die, we started rough, we went through the thin moment and the broad situations, Dear Believe me this is just a challenge we will surely overcome.
What an encouraging word from Adesola to her husband who has been given her tough time for more than a month that she has been visiting her in the hospital.
Adesola and Ajanaku have been married for about 4 years happily even without a child, but the love that existed between this two is just so strong as a Rock.
But the bad event happened on Adesola Birthday, Ajanaku took her to a pleasing joint to celebrate her, and right after the joyful moment they shared together, they left for their house, but on getting home, Ajanaku got a call to resume back to office, which he couldn't oblige, but an accident occurred on his way to the office which made him lost his spinal cord.
Thinking of how miserable it will be for them, he advises her to leave her for another relationship but Adesola replied him that, even though they are not likely to have a child again, A Love Like This Will Never Die.

A LOVE LIKE THIS
My story;
It all started in a small house of two apartments. My parents longed for my arrival to this beautiful world after a couple of years into marriage. I was finally given birth to and nothing could have been more of happiness than my parents having their own offspring.
Love became a necessity in my everyday activities as my parents continue to live and cherish me. As the days goes by, the love from my parents keep on getting stronger as they get older.
Everything I do always seem right to my parents as they always support my visions and missions. Whenever I am wrong, they will call my attention to my wrongs by making it seems right. They gave to me all I could ever need.
A love like this is often the love from parents to offsprings. A love like this never fade away as it is true love. Parental love can't be replace by any means, so therefore, no one can replace my parents, as they are my best experience.
Now, I have grown into a man of many success and values with the help of my parents.
A love like this is magnificent, real, and true.

I stopped working to dedicate myself to Sofia's care and seek medical help to find a compatible heart for her. I only live and breathe to achieve her happiness and my faith strengthens me, because there is no love greater than the love of a mother.
My prayers were heard and today my girl lives a happy life, she can play and run like the other children, she goes to school and in her future I see a full life, although she will always need a lot of care.
Love is unconditional surrender, and when you have children you sacrifice and fight for their well being. Their happiness is your happiness.

The strength of love
Tells the story of two lovers who under the light of the moon and the stars swore eternal love, fruit of forbidden love a seed grew in his belly, but a heartless father who did not tolerate the idea that his daughter loved the man which she chose, led him to plan his confinement and away from the sight of the people remained for a long time. the months passed the sadness cornered her, the only refuge of that young she was the great love for his son.
One night a crying announced the arrival of product of love of that pair of adolescents cruelly separated that only longed to meet again. The humble midwife who attended to the young woman, witnessing the situation, she decided to help her escape, days ago had already planned the reunion near midnight in a desolate train station, where a young man with a suitcase full dreams I expected with wish the arrival of his love, when looking they at each other from a distance they ran for embrace each other, the emotion came out to flower of skin while in a deep kiss they waited for the train of freedom.

Her beautiful black eyes, jet-black hair and exquisite figure dazzled me when I met her at my best friend's house. Andrea was the younger sister of Charles, one of my closest friends.
My love for her grew slowly, but secretly, since Andrea had a boyfriend and they were about to get married, so I had not confessed my love. A month before the wedding, Andrea discovered that her boyfriend had been unfaithful and thus decided to end their relationship.
I took courage and confessed my feelings, she was a puddle of tears and eventually we started dating. One day Leo came back and I saw them conversing by chance in a square, she looked at him with love, a look she did not have for me and I realized how much she still loved him.
With my heart broken I told Andrea to give Leo a chance, that if she wanted him, she should go back with him and be happy, that I would let her out of her commitment.
Love is to let your partner be free, to respect the other's feelings and decisions, to be by their side along the way, to wish their happiness over yours.
A Gift of Love
Charles and Annie were farmers, but due to a great drought that hit the country, they had lost everything.
It was only a few weeks away for their wedding anniversary. Charles had a watch he inherited from his father, it was his most valuable possession. Charles decided to sell it to buy an anniversary a gift to his wife.
When the anniversary date came, Charles told his wife that, despite the financial difficulties, he had bought her a gift. Annie told him that she also had a gift for him.
When both opened their gifts they did not know whether to laugh or cry with emotion, Charles gave Annie a hairbrush and Annie gave Charles a strap for his watch. What Charles did not know that Annie cut her hair to sell it and be able to buy the strap. Annie did not know that Charles sold his watch to buy Annie the Hairbrush.
Both sold their most precious treasures to give themselves a gift, because their love was more valuable than any possession they had and that gift signified their commitment and love. To love is to sacrifice oneself for the loved one.
The wedding photo of my parents is charming, they are clearly head over heels. By the time I was born, they had been married nearly 20 years. Those "Hollywood" ideas of love were not really visible in their relationship. They did kiss and say "I love you" to each other, but any passion you may see in that old photo did not appear to survive seven children and two decades.
Appearances can be deceiving. When mom got cancer, dad looked as ill as she. When I left the nest and dad retired, they turned their attention back toward their relationship. They bought a new car and RV, hit the road and played like children!
One evening at Cincinnati Music Hall, my father dropped dead at my mother's feet. CPR was done immediately, but there was no hope.
My mother's grief was hard to witness. For over fifty years they had been together in everything, fifty-plus years of standing side by side. When she passed away, the sadness at losing her was tempered by knowing that at last, mom and dad were together again.
My thirty-seven year marriage is built upon the lessons of love like this!
The Unconditional Love ( love like this )
This story is about a man and his name is father. He used to go daily to office and work for whole day, at evening he came back to home, and this is his daily routine. He serves the whole family and try to fullfill all there needs. He want to see the happy faces of his kids. Always he tries to express his love toward his child but fails many times. Even after doing all, his child don't understand him at all, but it's ok and it's fine, because they are no more 9.
He want to spend time with his family. He want to express his felling. He wants to be the best friend. But many times, because he have the responsibility to protect you from all the problem, from all the wrong choice and evil element of society. He sometimes behaves a little harder. Do you know why? Because he is a father. He loves you a lot, more then your friends, with a thought. Someday you understand his felling and his thought. That he loves you a lot, he loves you a lot.

Mama & The Kids!
"Chiboy! Chiboy!!" Mama called. “Gather firewood and make a fire. Put the biggest pot on it. We are going to make a sweet food today". The eldest son understood and left to do as Mama said.
The kids' eyes widened from expectancy. Their last meal was white rice with palm oil they had as breakfast.
Since her husband passed on 6months ago, things have been really difficult for Okafor's bereaved family. The man left 3 kids for Mama and went to an early grave due to hypertension and stroke.
"Children gather round. Let me tell you a story", she said.
On days when hunger got them like this the only thing she could do is fill their minds with moonlight tales of tortoise and other animals. They loved listening to Mama’s stories though there tummies made loud noises.
"I'm cooking something delicious...” she quickly added inbetween tales.
“But while we are waiting for it, let's have garri". They sipped the white granules to a fill.
By the time Mama was done with her stories, the kids had all slept. Chiboy brought down the pot and removed the pieces of stone they have been cooking.

A LOVE LIKE THIS ...
..To Save his life or that of his child to be born. The choice seems impossible. In such situation, Mother will have no hesitancy. Pressed by time, it chooses to die to save this child that she had no time to know,
The pregnancy had taken place without complication. In some days of the 35 years and the eighth wedding birthday, the mother is giving birth to the second child. But arrived at the hospital, the doctors discover that the young mother is suffering from an amniotic embolism, a rare complication of childbirth where the amniotic fluid circulates suddenly in the mother's blood. Putting his vital prognosis and that of her child in danger .
The doctors leave only few options to this mother: Have a c-section under anesthesia to be sure to save the life of his son or stay awake in order to implement everything to save his life. She chooses the son,the child born in good health .
A gift of generosity that left everyone without a voice ...

One sunny morning, Maria wakes up for the clock. He leaves running because he's late. She takes a single sip of coffee and a message arrives from her boyfriend saying he is waiting for her at work.
He arranges things in his car and goes to his work, enthusiastically hoping it will be a great day. A tire is damaged and you have to step on the road. When he gets out of the car he observes the damage, he starts to regret and in that a man in a car passes by and gets off saying that I can help you. Help and leave and finally Maria goes to work. Are you late and angry? Does your boyfriend tell you why you were late? Sure you were with a man. She tells him that's not how it hurt my car. You always distrust me, Maria says. Because you doubt a love like this that can not be compared, we love each other without ceasing. I am always at your unconditional side because you always treat me badly. And the boyfriend responds is that you are very beautiful, any man does not resist your love charms.
Love Like This
The walk from the cemetery was the longest one. Larry was buried today. He received a befitting farewell, a state’s farewell. We served in Afghanistan together wearing the same badge of honour, Larry was in the K-9 unit. His job, to avert mine threats whilst mine was to be his friend and guide. He played a more significant role. He was a real charmer, a natural in keeping the entire platoon engaged and forget their loved ones at home.
They all loved him as much. The best chunk of meat is usually left for Larry. Larry had his fair shares of war scars, being shot by a stray bullet from an AK-47 didn’t dampen his spirit. He took 2 months to recover and he was back in the field. He was the most dedicated member. I deeply believed that he worked hard not because he knew the mission he was on, he did it because he loves us all and he wanted to keep us safe. I was his handler, he taught me strength, he taught me courage and he taught me to love like this. He fell, but he etched a lasting mark.

There's no Love like His Love
One night a guy and a girl were driving home from the theater watching their favorite movie. The guy sensed that there was something wrong because of the painful silence they shared between them that night and so, he frankly inquired the girl what's wrong. The girl then asked the boy to pull over because she wanted to talk. She told him that her feelings towards him had changed and that it was time to move on.
A silence tear slid down his cheek as he slowly reached into his pocket and passed her a folded note.
At that moment, a drunk driver was speeding down that very same street. The driver felt dizzy and suddenly swerved right into the drivers seat, killing the boy. Miraculously, the girl survived. Remembering the note, she pulled it out and read it.
"Without your love, I would die"
The girl felt like her heart was crumpled a many times. She felt loneliness to herself and don't know why.
After spending days and nights crying, she just realized that she still love the boy and there's nothing compares to the love like his love.

A love like this describes the bond between a mother and her child,from moment of formation of the zygote within her womb, this bond is formed, she can't explain it, this bond allows her the courage to carry her new bundle of Joy for 3 months less of a calender year within her porch.
She is attracted to her offspring just moments after she had guided it into this world; a love like this is the best description of what is called love a first sight.
Only a love such as this will see a mother give up her all to see her chid better, only a love would see a mother make enemies for the sake of her child.
Mothers are priceless, from antiquity up to this recent epoch, a love like this; that of a mother for her child has not found a way to be explained.
when the Dahomean army swooped into the peaceful town of Ayedaade, the community became hell, everyone jumping up and down trying to escape the sting of death as the Dahomean soldiers started slaying everyone.
Mama Dele as she is popularly called carried her one and only child, she was about to flee when she got surrounded by this deadly looking men who tried taking her child from her, she struggled with them and refused to release her child, she was first stabbed with a dagger, she still held on to her baby who was crying bitterly, heavy blows landed on her, but she ensured no harm came to her child, an ordinary woman became stronger than fierce looking men because of the love she had for her son.
The leader of the army came to where she was and saw what happened, a man with a cold heart and without emotions was moved with pity as he watched this brave woman fighting for her life but still protected her son with a warm embrace. He said to himself "there is no love like this".
Samson a very poor guy was so fortunate to have Simi as his fiancee. Simi was from a rich family and she stood against all odds just to be with Samson "a church rat". Her parents begged her to leave Samson and get married to one of the many rich guys that had been proposing to her, but she refused. She became despised by all at home and at work.
Samson fell seriously sick and the doctor said he will need a kidney transplant, there was no one to donate kidney for him cos he is of no use to anyone. Simi walked up to the doctor without thinking twice and told him she will donate her own, the doctor was so surprised, she was just ready to go through hell so as to make Samson happy.
After donating her kidney, she became seriously sick and was dying, but she stood by the bedside of Samson with smiles on her face urging him to get well soon.
The doctor saw her by Samson's bed and shook his head saying to himself, could this love story be real, I have never seen a love like this
A love like this
There was a man created and placed in a wonderful garden, the creator name him john and put him in charge of every other things he has created. All the creator ask in return was for john to praise and worship him. John been a covetous man and a greedy will always break all the rules, when he later start to face the consequence of his action, he will run back to seek forgiveness by offering sheep as sacrifice. The creator been merciful will forgive him. The creator decided to send his son to save john and other people like him he has created by showing them an example of how to worship the creator. Instead they crucify him, for trying to save them the response they give him was save yourself first before saving us, they nail him on the cross before he finally gave up to the ghost. The creator decided to show john everything he has done and how he has been forgiving him, because of the love he have for him, john bow down immediately and say a love like this is not common, i will worship you forever.
Nnena and Kalu had been together since their university days, even after graduation they still kept in touch. they had plans of getting married. Nnena was not from a wealthy family. After leaving school, fortune did not smile upon her as she couldn't get a job. On the other hand, Kalu was doing well. He was a barrister. He did help Nnena and her family financially, He was loved by her family members.
Disaster struck, Nnena's father died. Funds for burial was not readily available. Kalu came to their rescue. He just loved Nnena so much,he had to help, afterall she was to be his future wife, and the man his father in law.
Few months after, Nnena learnt Kalu had been hospitalized. He was to do a kidney transplant. A donor was needed. Their organs were compatible. She was faced with the choice to either leave him or donate her kidney. Most of her friends told her to leave him since they were not yet married. She just could not, not because of sympathy but because he was truly her soul mate.
Today,they are Married with kids. Truly, I have not seen love like this
