The daily brain quiz #7 - Five STEEM Token to the winner!

in #contest8 years ago (edited)

As you probably know by now I host a daily Quiz where you can earn at least 5 STEEM token.

 Here is todays quiz:

If a watermelon costs 4,64 STEEM,

A yoghurt 2,52 STEEM,

cookies 2,34 STEEM,

an apple 2,32 STEEM,

and milk 1,31 STEEM.

How much are two cucumbers?

Quiz #5 ends exactly at 7pm GMT on the seventh of July.

Rules:

- You may only submit exactly one answer per day.

- In order for your answer to count you have to have upvoted the post.

- My original answer counts (I make a picture when creating the post.)

- In case of a draw, there will be a lottery. Every right answer receives one lottery ticket. If you resteemed the quiz you get an extra one. And if you follow me you even get a third one.

Good luck guys :)

P.S.: If my daily quiz gains more attention I will raise the amount of Steem given out every day. So if you are good in solving problems like this, it might be in your best interest to resteem this topic.

Going with 7,06 STEEM though I think there's a couple possible correct answers

From my point of view there is only one correct one :)

But actually, I think the price of cookies is wrong.

A cucumber costs 3,53

But two cucumbers? 3,74? MAN, I dunno. I think I'll stick with the price of a single cucumber. Maybe it's 7,06 STEEM for two.

Or. OH, 3,63 for "cucumbers". Two, I dunno what that's about.

i think so.
Completely no clue about those 2,44/2,444 steem lol

I'd guess someone saw the first answer and then copycats appeared.

Yeah probably :D But I am deeply sorry - the price for cookies actually was wrong!

Then we figured it out!

7.26 :)

and cookies should be 2.34??(if i guessed correctly)

That's what I think, too.

ya, the cookies are annoying lol

Yes that is true, sry! I corrected it!

Oops ~
Do we get some sbd for discovering the mistake? XDD

I got MONEY ON MY MIND.

I want money in my pocket instead :)

Sent some sbd to both of you :P

Oh the SBD is real now XD

Love your quiz!!! Two cucumbers would be:
2 x 3,63 STEEM = 7,26 STEEM

My answer is 2,44 STEEM ;)

Argh, I'm probably overthinking this question. There are at least four possible interpretations...

I think the cookies are the key here. I know that if I bought a cookie from this grocery store, exactly one cookie and nothing more and nothing less, it would cost me 2,24 STEEM. But what if I want 5 cookies, or 10 cookies, or even the entire stock of cookies? It would appear that they all count as "cookies", so I should be able to acquire as many as I want or need for the total cost of 2,34 STEEM. After all, the listings for the other items show that descriptive words indicating quantities have no effect on the price (e.g. a watermelon = one watermelon = 4,64 STEEM cost).

So based on the interpretation I'm going with, one cucumber costs 3,53 STEEM, and any higher quantity of cucumbers will be a total cost of 3,63 STEEM.

My answer: the cost of two cucumbers is 3,63 STEEM.
