Contest Instructions
Write a haiku about fishing! Not phishing. Use previous haikus, if you have any!
This must be a one-stanza, traditional 5-7-5 haiku like the ones described here: http://www.kidzone.ws/poetry/haiku.htm . Here’s an example:
You may submit multiple haikus. Please make each haiku its own reply so I can give you an upvote for each entry.

you know... it is hard for me to write haiku, but I'll give it a try one more time...
Sometimes when you last more than 20 minutes trying to fish and no fish takes the bait, you start to talk to them or charm them... ha ha ha, just like this:
come and eat my worm
you know you can not help it
that's the way things are
another enchantment...
come and take the bait
be a joy for my palate

I used to eat cod, but sadly I started having reactions when eating seafood and fish. It's not that I'm allergic to the fish or seafood itself, it's the products they put in the food they feed the fish. I also have trouble with poultry if it's not free range, free run and grain fed.

my dad did that to my turtle
Tragic! My mother told me about my first fish. I was a very little boy. Won a little goldfish at a fair. Put it in a fishbowl and played with it...and my toy pickup truck. I ran the fish over with my truck! I was so upset, I ran crying to my mother "it's broken! The fishy's broken!"
I don't remember that, but I do remember standing in my parents' bathroom watching my mother put the fish in the bowl. So sad...
