Have you tried a smoky babaganoush?
No, but the "ganoush" part sounds like the texture I am talking about, hehe.
I had crispy fried slices of eggplant once as an appetizer and liked the first slice, but soon the smush factor returned and I could not tolerate it.
It's remarkable to me only because I like a lot of different foods, but this one item just automatically rejected even if the preparation is appealing at first.

Great suggestion! That is quite a great use of eggplant! You should enter for the Least favourite though!
Weirdly enough, I'm the opposite with eggplant! I hate the smell of the cooking, but I love the eating part!
My wife makes a great eggplant lasagne... but I hate the smell of the steaming eggplants. It really stinks up the house!
